Nantwich Lake.
dug out in the 1970s, partly as flood defence measures (its fed by the River Weaver) but also as a wildlife area. Plenty of ducks but no fish because of the salinity levels in the water. (A lot of the salt for Cheshire and Manchester roads comes from underground near here.

Went to sleep on our own on an Aire in a very rural location, woke up to the local hunt forming up around us.

Always makes me smile when I see the French hunters with the orange coats on, they even have branch design on them. I suppose it stops them shooting each other

Look really nice, do you have the coordinates? We usually stop at Lake Como but that looks a better alternative.

Staying at a favourite private little site on a large farm called Mas Bes near to Girona Airport ((details on screengrab 20 pitches with ehu price shown is incorrect it’s now 10 euro, 16 amp ehu restaurant etc) This Morello Empire Liner just gave birth to the little Fiat what is unusual is the owners ages 40ish at most, very nice and looks brand new as does the car.

Yes lovely site but some pitches you have to be a mountain goat to stay on, we asked to be moved from our first pitch given
Very nice pub about 10 min walk down the lane
We were there last June, you can walk down but it would be a killer walking back up there is a bus that stops outside to go to the town and back.

Walked into Bude and back twice, no trouble at all, won the pub quiz night and meal was lovely. Wooda site is well maintained, only been during November….hate to think how busy it gets in the summer season, closes Dec 3rd
