A photo of the outside from Inside

Sunday lunchtime picnic at the seaside this week ! Baie de l'Aiguillon north of La Rochelle. Just a few oyster shells on the ground outside the van.

View from the Camping Car Park site in Lorca. 1 euro per night, black & grey waste disposal, fresh water and ehu all included in the price. Space for 16 units but only 12 ehu points. 15 mins walk from the old town, shops, bars & restaurants. Big supermarket nearby. No wonder it's very busy.

Between here and my last post from Orgiva we have stayed at Roquetas de Mar, Nueva Vera, La Manga and a 4 night stop over with some friends who have an apartment in La Tercia, near Murcia. Here's Ziggy taking a well earned rest in La Tercia.

Have you got the co-ords of the CCP at Lorca? It could make a good halfway stop, en route from Granada to Gran Alacant.
Is 350ks(220 mls) more than you like to do in a day?

Camping Ole in Nueva Playa de Oliva. Big site but nicely laid out with roomy pitches and excellent facilities. Very close to the beach with nice walks towards Denia or Oliva. It's a lot like being in Germany but we are only here for 2 days.

Parking La Brisa, Peniscola. 8.5 euros a day with shower, toilets and locked access gate (21:00 - 09:00). Entry via key coded gate when main gate closed. 10 mins from town, 10 mins from a very large Mercado supermarket.

Nice site, stayed on there a few years ago, was fun getting on the pitch with a 9 mtr motorhome. 👍

Was a struggle with our 6.3 metre. They weren't allowing anything over 6.5 metres on site whilst we were there

It’s a five hour drive from Nelson to Christchurch, South Island, NZ and we like to stopover en route. This is the view from our van at Marfells Beach, south of Blenheim. It’s a Department of Conservation camp but only has toilets and non-potable water. A bit pricey at £10 per night.

And as we drove along SH1 towards the whale-watching town of Kaikoura the Trans Scenic train came towards us.

Look great, is it tow on, tow off, or hard enough for the excellent abilities of the Ducatos.

Great photos by the way.

There is rudimentary 'hardstanding' as in loose gravel. We were the only ones there so plenty of room without the risk of getting bogged down.

Municipal parking site in Tossa de Mar. Free out of season, 15 euros in season. Lovely old town 10 mins away. Toilets in nearby bus station and water available from the cemetery across the road. Dead handy.

Municipal motorhome site in the centre of Girona. 19 euros a day, all waste and water amenities and ehu at 1 euro for 2 hrs if needed. 15 minute walk to the old town which is well worth a visit. Only 6 vans on when we arrived at 11:30 but it's almost full now. And it's raining. A lot ☹️
