Chirk Aqueduct and viaduct. Decided to do in black and white because when it was built there was no colour photos. It just amazes me how long ago it was built and still in daily use with boats and trains going over it.
Architect Thomas Telford
Started build in 1796
Finished in 1801
Height 21 metres
Length 220 metres

Great day out.
Lunch in the back of my Caddy Van. Comfy or what.
The Black Jag SS100 Reg 60 MPO (proper one not a snide Suffolk) is the one i would most want to take home. There were thousands to choose from.

Is that your Caddy with an armchair in the back?

I know lots of Transporter owners use an IKEA fold-out sofa bed, but that's mad

Yes it is, the other half is in my garge both to go to my son's eventually.
Got some very funny looks when i was having my lunch sat in that with the back doors open.

It's well worth doing a guided tour that takes you inside one of the 'osses.
Yep, did that today as well. Definitely worthwhile to understand the legend of the Kelpie and the artistic & engineering aspects of the site. I’ve been meaning to go for years, so can now tick that one off.
Nearby Falkirk Wheel is also one ticked off the bucket list.

Funny thing happened when we were going inside ... The guide opened the door to let our group in a lady attempted to tack on to our party but when questioned she explained that her son had infact designed the project so he relented and invited her in.🐎🐎
