Been to Braithwaite many years ago camping in a tent.Cracking walk today, sunny all day. Walked from Braithwaite CACC site.
Clear and Frosty overnight, the view of Skiddaw from the site.

First peak of the day, Ard Crags, so tramped into Newlands Valley.

Straight down the side from the top, and then up over Scar Crags. Always think this is a very elegant Fell, quite a slender curving ridge. Looking back over it.

Final (big) peak of the day, Causey Pike. Coffee and fig rolls on top, then hightail it down before it goes dark.

If you have a clear sky you should seen Jupiter bright in the south and Mars a smaller bright red dot to the eastI'll check that out.
Often awake in the middle of the night and love watching the moon.
