Jim, JIM; that Twinkle or Treacle or Chris, you know who I mean, the guy that keeps supporting the Red shirted Underdogs is Pickin' on me, can I put 'im on the same ignore list as ShiftZZ and Swansejack and Tootles and Cruiser and the Dux and all the rest of those ner-do-wells?
 
On a Star Trek theme, I had dinner with Majel Barrett and Denise Crosby on a ship, not the Enterprise just an ordinary ship.

I once talked a guy off a bridge who was contemplating suicide, he then attempted to rob me with a knife he pulled out his pocket, I ended up calling the emergency services for him after leaving him on the floor unconcious !

Lucky enough to have been to New York and back on Concorde after my wife won the 'business challenge'at the company she was working for at the times' annual conference,and four nights at the Waldorf!
An unforgetable experience :)
 
Thank you! It was hard on the arthritis, but keeps the gas bills down and the dog warm. Hope to test them out on the trip to Spain starting tomorrow. Stellaartois

My grandfather is buried in Yokahama in Japan. He died aged 23 on 5/12/1942 an RAF Pow. My Mum was 7 months old. Makes me sad.

Took Mum to see him in 2002 and it made me cry.
 
Apart from a short stint in the military, I've never been 'employed' always making my own way in life. And I was a proud dad at the weekend as my eldest opened her first shop on the south coast. Opening day was better than she'd even dreamed it might be. :)

Both my ex and my daughter are truly ambidextrous. They both hold a guitar in either hand and have found that the piano was a breeze to learn. Strange how we pass these things on.:)
