What are you up to this weekend?

Finishing the packing ready for our long awaited holiday to Florida yay :)

Hurley riverside park ( down the road from Henley) for a couple of nights. Try and get in a couple of long works one to Henley and one to Marlow.

Anyone been there?

?
What about Deal Castle, Walmer Castle, Dover Castle, Sandwich, Richborough Roman Fort, Turner Contemporary at Margate...............
Sorry should have said "nothing within easy walking distance". Our MH is too big to drive off site and park up.

Weekend with daughter inLondon, lots of shopping, chatting, fish restaurants and seeing Book of Mormon and Commitments, bliss. Nick is having a nice nagging free weekend playing golf, watching sport and drinking cider so happiness abounds!

Working this weekend of to Wales on Tuesday near Bala Lake can't pronounce the village but it looks nice.

First pre-season football match, meeting 2 friends and my son for brunch in Chiswick before-hand.
Booked 2 nights at Fairlight Wood CC site, one of our favourites. Really rather not go as the weather looks awful and I've so much to do at home. Still, being away in the motorhome means I don't have to do those things at home:D

Taking Jan to a concert today then off to Italy on my motorbike tomorrow for 8 days.
Gonna be fun getting on the chunnel by the sounds of it.:)
Wonder how many illegals I can get on a motorbike.;)

How long to ride around the lake? and how many miles?
The short route missing out Hambleton is 16 miles. With the Hambleton peninsula it is 23. I am not fit by any means and can do the 23 miles in 3h 30. The young girl in the cycle shop says 2 hours max.
well worth the effort.

Well done @andyman you can have a beer now

We managed a couple of hours at the Tramlines music Festival. Fantastic atmosphere with the city centre closed off to traffic and free live music being played at most pubs plus outdoor stages set up all round in the public open spaces. Headlining tonight was Martha Reeves (this was at one of the pay venues). Surprised to see a tag axle m/home trying to negotiate the diversions through the roads around the centre.

we stayed at home so I could finnish restoring my 1980's cocktail cabinet space invaders, now compleatly new inside but keeping with a selection of 60 games and flat screen monitor. that will keep the grand kids quite for a while.
