What are you up to this weekend?

This weekend I am going to chuck about 12 packing cases out of the garage...

And build and put up some shelves to stow the rubbish I have kept in the packing cases...

And then see if there is enough room to get a car in the garage..

Hopefully that will tire you out so you won't have enough energy to post any jokes 🤣

I'll be putting my left leg up to recover from twisting my knee when I slipped off MH step last Tuesday morning. Knees are already very dodgy before last weeks little drama. And I have cancelled going away next week as I don't think my poor legs will be up to humping that bloody awning 'we needed' (for that read she wanted) so badly.

Just sat chilling after breakfast with Just Kate on our 16th wedding anniversary at Baltic Wharf.
Off up town later to a few pubs.
Brew Dog Bristol, Wildbeer at Wapping Wharf then back to the Orchard Inn is on the cards.

Well, I started radiotherapy yesterday as my Prostate has the big C, so on Friday as I have the weekend free of the “ space station “ radio machine we will find a site along the Dorset bit of the Jerrasic coast , not far from home, and have a couple of nights there. Hoping the weather is ok.

Nowt, but Monday, now there’s a different story. A couple of nights at Beadnell then North. Visiting a mate on seil then further north and west. Out to Harris for a few days then slowly meandering our way back home in about two weeks ish. The only site we have booked is Beadnell after that it’s pub stops, Forest and land car parks and perhaps a night at uig, they don’t take bookings for one night so just told me to turn up and I’ll be fine.

We are getting the MH ready as on Monday we are going to Eddie Van Bitz to have the alarm checked. We are staying there a couple of days then on to Stourhead CL (NT CL) for 4 days and then on to a Warminster site for a couple of weeks.

Just shopping on Friday for food and muttlie grub then we are off to Aysegarth for two nights en route for Ullswater.
Not that I trust weather forecasts but it’s looking like we might get some walking in whilst we are in the lakes.

We were planning to go away this weekend. Husband has an AGM to attend for an organisation he's involved with. We just went outside to start the pack and discovered the engine battery is flat. Can't see what has caused it, but probably a cab interior light. Battery is now on charge and hopefully will be OK by tomorrow afternoon. It's always so fiddly to remove the battery, especially as the van is parked very close to a wall and we can't open the door. Neither of us is slim!

Well yesterday took our 17 plate VW Caddy Van for it's 2nd MOT, easy pass as it's only got 11,200 miles on it (it's known as HRHs B&Q car)
Today the same van is going for a full service.

Home, after leaving for the outer hebrides last Friday we've done our ten days in the new motorhome and are home sorting pictures, vids and making lists of what we need and don't need

Having 2nd jab today, thank god. Hope no headache this time, but hey ho.
