Got to apologize, I spelt it wrong, It is the ENYS Estate.
We went, and although not all the Bluebells were out, there were still a couple of million to make it worth while.
The thing that interested me were the mature Trees. Fabulous shapes, an old Oak, an Elm, a stand of Maples, even what looked like a Rata, marvellous, just looking at them gave you a sense of awe.. Huge trees a couple of hundred years old.
And the shrubs bursting with Blooms, there were 40 maybe 50 foot high Rhododendrons in full bloom, how old would they be?
And! the "garden" did not look "Manicured" it looked as though it was "natural" . Well worth the £ 8 for seniors, we paid.
To top off the day, we decided to go for a meal, made the mistake of going to the "Pandora Inn" at Restronget,+oh dear oh dear, forgot it was Holiday W/End, Place was jammed, even a queue!
We quickly turned around and decided to head home. BUT! passing through MYLOR we spotted the Lemon Arms, decided to call in, glad we did!
Excellent service! a fabulous meal, an excellent pint! and good value, can recommend their Cod and Chips, the batter was crispy, the chips were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Altogether a good experience, yes we did not have a sea view! but where we sat was a sheltered sun trap, and quiet!
All in all a bloody good day.
