What are you up to this weekend?

Off to Silverstone for the GP on Thursday. Taking the Motorhome and camping at Dadford road campsite. Actually we only live 20mins from the circuit but it'll be great being virtually on site.

Anyone else going?

Motorbike trip with a few mates. Oban for two nights with a tour of mull on the middle day. Then one night in Melrose before making our way back down through the Dales.
Weather looking good so far.

Fishery creek holiday park on Hayling Island for us. Not been before but does look lovely right on the coast. Weather looking awesome too

Start of our 2 week tour of the South Coast starting at Quackers anniversary bash on Sat till Tuesday then Weymouth.

Sunday 18th a few hours at Capesthorne Hall classic car show with Bertie and HRH. Went last year, a good day out.

Leaving in 30 mins to go to the Capesthorne Hall Classic Car show. Only 30 mins drive from us. Few hours there then get back for the F1. Jobs a good un.

Going for a little ride from Quackers site to stretch the legs, that's after the 10 o'clock breakfast get together.
It's hot here today so not far.

Not weekend as i suspect it will be persisting down looking at the forecast.

So today a good long ride on my bike (with engine) around North Wales. First stop will be Bala for lunch on/near the lake.
Then onto LLynclys via a very country road, then who knows where on the way to Shrewsbury then home in time for early sundowners.
Suspect about 250 miles.

Even with management still hobbling about with her boot and crutches she still wants to go away for our anniversary as planned.
We are having three nights in the pub car park site in Hutton le Hole. Lunch is booked for Sunday but the rest of the weekend will be dependent on how far she can hobble. There are two cafes and a museum in the village so that will I think.

Will be at sandilands till Sunday am. enjoyed our walk to Mablethorp, but leg ached all night. Weather wonderful, not bothered with the full awning so pleasant just sitting under the canopy with a front sheet and the breeze blowing through. John asleep so off to giveinside of the van a quick ‘do’. If anyone else is at Chery Trees come and say hello.

Yep, we love that site, we will be there next weekend for a week…..use it as a base at least once a year, so I can see my parents. Long drive for us from Cornwall, so will be doing it after work on Friday and pull in close to the site for a few hours rest. Love the adults only restrictions, especially in the school holidays ! 😀 our 2 dogs love it…..just watch yours doesn’t run off in the woods chasing a rabbit…..

We had a 4 day booked trip on the Belmond in Peru last April. The 19 put a stop to that. We were gutted.
Pleased you enjoyed it.
