What are you up to this weekend?

This weekend will be sorting out locations for the projector screen and projector. Wifey is off to USA next week so myself and pup will do our 1st trip away together. Not a gamer but plan on playing some of the 1980's arcade games while away with some berry ciders and chocs by my side 😀

Currently sitting on a plane at Cardiff airport waiting to fly to Gran Canaria. They loaded us then told us that we face at least a one hour delay due to air traffic control problems in Portugal.

Oh joy!

So sitting here reading MHF.

No weather problems but it was well over an hour before we left.

However, the weather here is sunny, temperature 26°C, the beer and white wine, (for Mrs Maison), is cold and all is well with the world!🙂

Back of Beyond near St Leonards for us. Adults only and they have a Christmas crooner singing in the onsite Monty’s Bar, what’s not to like.

Made a new bottom shelf for a top locker, raised it 20mm so the new microwave door missed the locker door catch.

This has saved us removing the tec tower fridge to be able to remove the bread bin useless oven that we’ve got.

Handy that there’s a socket next door for the coffee machine so doubled up on that for 240v.

Was planning on an overnighter in Stratford on Avon as the Christmas market was on ….but the storm put paid that… spent the day tidying the garden of broken bits of tree and doing a tip run

On Saturday off to our local distillery for a gin making experience then dinner in the village pub then on Sunday, previous day permitting 🥴 an overnighter to Stratford to the Christmas market 🎄

Salisbury caravan and camping club site for a few nights. Hopefully walk, not be blown into the city. Christmas market meander and a few lunches out accompanied with copious quantities of🍷/🍺, what’s not to like

We have a shade cloth covering the deck and the post that holds it up in one corner is the preferred toilet for one of our resident Blackbirds. So, we've attached a bed of nails to the top of the post. It's taken the blackbird 24-hours to learn how to land on it without pricking his bottom.

Travelling up to Lancashire in MHome, then Derbyshire but.......... weather could be a problem in a Hope Valley, might not be able to get into Castleton as snow is forecast ❄️❄️❄️

We had to alter a previous planned trip because my 93yr old mum has not been too good over Christmas. Improved now but we couldn't go up any earlier because all sites were full.

Drove from Haslington to Tain in the Highlands on Saturday! Four days of motocross turned into 2 days due to the weather and the track being under water! Lots of fun in two days though. The flipping hot water evaded me again but we managed! Motorhome didn't miss a beat! Happy new year!

Travelling down to the Lee Valley campsite at Sewardstone, Chingford on Sunday, which we are using as a base for visiting my sister who lives in Primrose Hill in London.
She is recovering from a major cancer op that she had on 2nd Jan this year. Not a great start to the New Year for her.
This will be the first leg of our onward journey to Morocco.
