We have bought into a new Snipe 2 system. It was actually from Salop on discount due to a "Black Friday" error? Think it means that it should have been a lot more than we bought it for?
Decided that the system on board the truck was in need of updating so ...Kev is having a break and fitting it for me!

All because the lady loves milk tray!

working nights this weekend, but will be cleaning out the bus ready for its sale,i hope.
will be looking at a smaller m/h,but have to wait for dvla to see what i can buy.

We are at the Abbey Wood Camp Site for the next 4 nights... Seeing some shows, having some food in London... No doubt the Mrs will doing her best in the shops too...

Our second outing this weekend. Little Budworth in Cheshire. A few nice pup walks and maybe a pint in the local. Hopefully less mishaps than our introduction to motorhoming a couple of weeks ago!
Not ready to risk the non hook up option just yet.
In my head I imagine that one day I will be set up to pack the van in ten mins and sod off at a whim. Not quite got there yet........

Will be picking my Ex up from Heathrow on Wednesday after being away for a month so having a tidy up making sure her fish tanks are clean and tidy, then just chilling out with a mosey around the shops and maybe a Wetherspoons breakfast on Sunday. My lovely lady wants to get a new Costco card, she has never been happy with the photo on her old card so this will be a good opportunity to get a new one...

Continue to fit the D2 Eberspacher system into the van, Jobs left cut exhaust duct and fit exhaust/secure to underside of van, fit air intake/ duct and silencer, fit fuel tank and fuel pipe/pump and prime, extend controller wiring to heater loom and run cable to loom from battery hopefully have the bulk of it done tomorrow (weather dependent)

Hopefully the better shops are shut on a Sunday

So this trip is done with general success on all fronts.
Just an interesting by note..... when having dinner I’m the local pub just down the road from the touring park (I won’t name the pub as it was quite nice and dog friendly), the waitress/bar girl burst into the room from outside and said “Roys back!” Turns out that Roy is a snake and has been missing for several months! God knows where Roy had been but as he was found in a bathroom, we can imagine that some pipe work was involved.

So that got me thinking:
What do snakes (not sure of his breed) eat?
And secondly, do I now really want to eat this burger in front of me?

Anyway I did.

Good fun this motorhome lark innit?

Wow... had a blast since Friday.. Feet ache from all the walking we’ve done..

Friday, we were at the French show picking up some useful information, ate loads of cheese and crackers and had the odd glass of wine... hiccup !!

We then ended up in Chinatown, met Charlie and Mr M&M..

Saturday, we saw our Architect in Islington to go over for the last time our house plans in great detail.. then went for a stroll along Islington High Street.. Wow it’s changed since I worked there back in the 80’s..

And today went to Camden Lock Market.. I had never been (Kat has once) and what a great day we had.. it was busy and the food was fantastic... what a diverse culture we live in.. it was simply superb..

have a night out with them in the camper go to the mach and watch the wee-man play tomorrow.
