What are you up to this weekend?

Our View from the rear doors of our van

Getting the van ready for our trip the following weekend. Off to Abbey Wood CMC site for three nights because my name came up in the Wimbledon ticket ballot. Two tickets for the Centre Court on the first Tuesday

Came back home from a couple of weeks in central France on Friday in view of the 35 to 37 degree forecast to sit with a cool drink under my cherry tree in a more pleasant 25 to 28 degrees. Odd isn't it, what a fine temp boundary it is (for me anyway) between 'comfortable' and 'debilitating'. I don't do survival weather.

Another weekend at home but we're going to a bbq on Saturday afternoon/evening - it could get messy :beerchug::drink::wine::party2:

If the van gets through its MOT and my shoulder is up to it a shake down trip
For her and my old body
Bill

From tomorrow (Wednesday), I will be arranging to get the Hymer prepared for its inspection (MOT) on Saturday.

In the bad old days it would have been me crawling around it adjusting this and sorting that, but no more.

At €18 an hour I will get Rui and Micha to do it for me.

(I might replace the brakelight and horn fuse myself?)

JJ

Typically the weather doesn't look great for this weekend down here:(

Was up on the roof cleaning yesterday evening but was still really warm had to have 1/2 bottle of red when I finished if it rains the weekend I'll wash it then no rinsing then

Joe

Beer can still be consumed under an umbrella!!

That's true.

It's a bit off though when you fry in work all week and then have crap weather at the weekend. Last year was like that. 2015 was the opposite.

Yes I do feel sorry for all you workers. But it really was to hot to sit in the garden the last few days!!!;)

Blimey my mate did that playing walking football

I might have to try walking rugby.

I was so aggresive when I played running rugby though that I should perhaps play by myself.:)

Well not sure this weekend I think we are babysitting whilst daughter is working
but in a couple of weekends we are planning taking the motorhome to Rother Valley Country Park
I will obviously be driving and then setting up a BBQ whilst all the extended family are aiming to cycle from Chesterfield and then have a pleasant relaxing afternoon

think SWMBO will be putting her bike on the bike rack to go home

Quick weekend away in "Holly" to Milton of Fonab site at Pitlochry. Lovely site so hoping for nice weather.
