It is HMS SULTAN summer show this weekend and we all have to do a stint. After my stint Saturday, I shall be off to Ocknell Forest Site for the rest of the Father's Day weekend, with Daughter No 2 and Grandson for the Sat evening and Daughter No 1 for the Sunday. Weather should be great.

Trip to see brother in Worthing. Staying at Northbrook Farm for 5 nights then travelling west for 3 to 4 weeks. Looking at a few THS and a bit of Barbel fishing on Rivers Severn and Wye.
Also taking the toad that we have just purchased from a forum member. So we are know just over 40ft long.
70 at end of August medical on 1st Aug fingers crossed for a pass.

We will be spending the first night in our first motorhome. It's in the dealer's compound and staying over there basically to set things up, remind ourselves of all the things we went through in the handover last Monday and trying everything out. Got to add in our personal stuff to see what goes and what's not needed. We'll then be off on our first "proper" trip the following weekend. Will post some pictures when I have some decent ones to share and post again with our thoughts and experience. Excited and looking forward to it.

Just back from an outing to the Armed Forces Day in Ayr. Parked up in C&MC site at Craigie gardens and looking forward to a BBQ. Fillet steaks, mushroom tortellini in a pomodoro sauce with garlic bread washed down with Barefoot Pink Muscato and there is a big yellow orb in the sky

Engine service on the motorhome, engine srvice on Lynn's car and took the engine out of the Triumph Herald. And all done by 1.00pm
Just enjoyed a nice sleep in the garden.

We are in West Bay, Bridport, wild camping since Friday night
Loving the weather, loving everything West Bay has to offer, Perfect beach town.
We caught copious crabs this morning, caught some rays after lunch, walked beneath the cliffs before dinner now going to chill with a beer during sun down.

I am pleased to report that my FIL looked 10 times better today than he looked last month

Perhaps I was writing him off prematurely.
