This weekend we are at La Clayette for their Brocante.

Pitched at the side of the lake we are watching a junior football tournament with wine set up on the table.

Our main purchase at the Brocante today was an old wooden wagon wheel. God only knows how we will get it home but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

At home this weekend and having cut the grass, washed the cars, weeded the borders and made polite conversation with Mrs Cornish Boy, I am just starting to think about our first trip abroad in the motorhome in a few weeks time. (y)

That's really sad. I hope he defies the weakness and improves.
My sincere best wishes to him and the family.
If this posts three times it's because I have stupid internet issues.

It's the big C unfortunately.

He has had it for about 8 years and was initially given a year so he has done really well.

It's starting to overcome the medication now though and he looks terribly unwell and I should think he feels worse than he looks.

He is unbelievably brave I must say(y)

It's so sad when it takes over. I'm sorry he feels worse than he looks. All the best to you all.

Friends coming to visit from Southampton & Portsmouth. Will have a good catch up, lots to eat & drink no doubt.

Dropping my ex off at Heathrow tomorrow, she is off the US for a month so tonight has been instruction night. How the clean the fish tanks. How to feed the dog, this is apart from printing off her visa and boarding passes etc. I just pray that all her fish survive in my hands for the month.
My son has booked a car to pick her up from JFK so she should be able to sit back and enjoy the ride. My son has also booked a week in a very plus hotel down south for a week of her stay, have seen the pictures of the hotel looks lovely.(y)
