Well I think it is an early night, we were up early had a nice meal and a glass of wine so nearly ready for my bed.Left home at 5am today arrived in St Austell Cornwall at 1015am real clear run. Loads of caravans and motorhomes going in the opposite direction so hopefully cornwall will be a bit quieter this week. We are staying in St Austell for a couple of nights then moving down to St Just for a day or two Weather is ok and the sea don't look too bad...
Blimey what is this wet stuff coming down, not used to this only brought tee shirts.....I lived in Cornwall a while ago, rain was a prominent feature on my memory.Well I think it is an early night, we were up early had a nice meal and a glass of wine so nearly ready for my bed.
Tomorrow going to pop up see Doc Martin after breakfast then Mevagissey for a pasty for lunch before calling in on some friends.
I was planning to start my little trip down to the SW and then maybe up into Wales and then maybe up to the peaks, lakes, moors but getting so fed up with grey skies and chilly temperatures and not really looking forward to UK touring with "pay and display", "no overnight parking here", "booking essential" and "how much for a pitch?"......... I've just booked Dover Calais and will nip down to Spain for a few weeks.
My task is to find a suitable coastal town, probably somewhere between Cartagena and Malaga, where we can spend a month or two next winter in a rental "apartment". A place not too big à la Benidorm and not too small à la ghost town in winter.
Not my usual French bimble but I'm sure I can find some time for a few days in the Lot.
It was raining when we left the south coast today but arrived 30 mins later at Port Isaac into sunshine. Had a walk down to doc martins house and had a look around then drove around to Rock on the opposite side of the river to Padstow, what a lovely little place Rock is. Parked easily and had a nice piece of cake and a cupper. You can get a ferry from Rock over to Padstow..Nice day.Blimey what is this wet stuff coming down, not used to this only brought tee shirts.....I lived in Cornwall a while ago, rain was a prominent feature on my memory.

We return for our anniversary every now and then.
The place hasn't changed in all those years which is very unusual . It's probably as they haven't done package tours there for years , and it's mostly Dutch tourists.
Moving to near Rustington. Got a job interview Thursday. Found a job i think might be worth doing for a while
