What are you up to this weekend?

Off to Zante for a month in the morning, but flying not driving, back on 1st July.

Looking forward to loafing, snorkeling and a bit of off-roading..

Hymie.

We were looking forward to our son coming home for the weekend until asked us if he could invite 10 friends round for a BBQ this evening. Thank god for the MH, we will go off and find a quiet spot for ourselves somewhere this evening .

At home this weekend. Went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean film last night - it was brilliant. Tonight we're going to our son & DILs for a BBQ with some friends.

Cleaning the van out after our recent trip, ready for next weekend's trip to the Stepping Stones folk festival at Kirklinton Hall near Carlisle. :)

Left home at 5am today arrived in St Austell Cornwall at 1015am real clear run. Loads of caravans and motorhomes going in the opposite direction so hopefully cornwall will be a bit quieter this week. We are staying in St Austell for a couple of nights then moving down to St Just for a day or two Weather is ok and the sea don't look too bad...

Blimey what is this wet stuff coming down, not used to this only brought tee shirts.....I lived in Cornwall a while ago, rain was a prominent feature on my memory.;)

Setting of down to harwich Friday for our annual 10 day trip to the Netherlands
Cousins are tagging along in there new swift mh
He's never driven abroad before so will be keeping an eye on the road behind us as well as in front lol

I was planning to start my little trip down to the SW and then maybe up into Wales and then maybe up to the peaks, lakes, moors but getting so fed up with grey skies and chilly temperatures and not really looking forward to UK touring with "pay and display", "no overnight parking here", "booking essential" and "how much for a pitch?"......... I've just booked Dover Calais and will nip down to Spain for a few weeks.
My task is to find a suitable coastal town, probably somewhere between Cartagena and Malaga, where we can spend a month or two next winter in a rental "apartment". A place not too big à la Benidorm and not too small à la ghost town in winter.
Not my usual French bimble but I'm sure I can find some time for a few days in the Lot.

Hi, Fuengirola is a lovely coastal town, situated between Benelmadena and Marbella. It's a great area with lots to do......I lived in the hills above Fuengirola for 8yrs, and know the area pretty well. I hope you have a wonderful trip.

It was raining when we left the south coast today but arrived 30 mins later at Port Isaac into sunshine. Had a walk down to doc martins house and had a look around then drove around to Rock on the opposite side of the river to Padstow, what a lovely little place Rock is. Parked easily and had a nice piece of cake and a cupper. You can get a ferry from Rock over to Padstow..Nice day.
Tomorrow heading down to Falmouth and Penzance I think staying in St Just....

Are any other Funsters attending the Brownhills Summer Spectacular next weekend (9th/10th June)?

It is Pizzing down in Penzance today with wind enough to lift your sprits. Cheers....:beerchug:

Flying to Crete.:sun:
Back to Aghia Gallini where we married 23 years ago. :inlove:
We return for our anniversary every now and then.
The place hasn't changed in all those years which is very unusual . It's probably as they haven't done package tours there for years , and it's mostly Dutch tourists. :drinks:

Mostly for UN , diplomats and special forces .They are moving to new facilities and i did offer to help them introduce some sort of production systems didnt go down well with the production Manager so i shut up (n)
My last job was hand building Rolls Royce Phantoms at Goodwood to a German production system, they are BMWs after all.
