Ooh that would be nice. Give Ralph a ring if your heading over. No doubt we will be walking down the canal to Misterton with the dog , then back over the fields to the White Hart. So if you don't make it, we could pop over and say hello at the site.

Schlumpf Museum on Saturday (yes @Tootles - there are lots of Schlumpfs there) and then the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart on Sunday. I didn't want to go but the air ambulance bear insisted........

We visited the Schlumpf museum a few years ago, Alan was like a kid in a sweet shop.

Seriously Schlumpf were the brothers that started the car collection that is now the French National Car Museum at Mulhouse. Bit of a history to it involving bankrupting there own business, hiding the cars and the workers taking the cars hostage. It is a good visit especially for car lovers.

We're off to Frimley Lodge near Farnborough with C C tomorrow for the weekend. The idea is to relax and watch the planes go over I think. Weather was bad at farnborough last weekend. Hope the grounds better now.

One cruise control to fit this morning then around lunchtime we're off to Loton Park for some hillclimb action, first time out in the car since it was mapped properly so hoping for dry conditions and some good times. :-)

D.

Camping nr Petworth at C&CC Graffham site on a bit of a detour from Cornwall to Essex. Surprising the nephew on his 9th birthday. Well he will be thrilled to see the dog anyway...

quick jaunt up to Lomond Woods on Loch Lomond for one night, after i have an attempt at replacing the mirror on the passenger side which fell victim to narrow roads in the Lake District last weekend.

I'm going to a 40th year of leaving... Skool reunion.. Black tie do!....

Where I guess I'll be seeing some "old" faces - in more ways than one!!! :)

Not done too much at all really just pottered around with a cool pint in a couple of nice pubs and breakfast in the Radlett cafe. The highlight was seeing my first Bugatti Veyron in the flesh...(y)

Not sure about the weekend but in the morning I am taking my ex to Heathrow, she is staying with our son in New York for a month. He has arranged for a car to pick her up at JFK and I will distribute her and her cases at the check in at T5 so she has got it sorted. A couple of vodka's and a bit of lunch on the flight followed by a film and she will be getting ready to land. I'm a bit jealous really I could do with a month there myself but we will be dog and fish tank sitting instead.....still six weeks tomorrow and we are off to Majorca.

A drain for the shed, sounds a bit posh.:)

I am told we are spending the weekend packing for our hols next week.

Isabel is panicking that we can't get all our luggage in the car so we will probably have a dry run at packing the car too.

If only she packed less shi* she wouldn't need to worry.:)
