THIS week I bought

i put a drip stop over the door on ours realy a waste of time there is very little run of from the roof as the area above the door is so small and the roof runs back the other way the door is just so big rain falls straight in only putting the awning out realy stops it and you need the longest awning you can fit so it comes past the door a way

This is a new item. It's like a gutter, with a light strip. It's not Available in this country yet , I had to have it shipped. So it might be a different model ?

A new petrol tank for my Peugeot 107 tow car.
Arriving at Chirk CC site on Monday, the Calor lorry was coming out so I pulled over to give him some space and then carried on, after about 100yrds a big jolt as if I had gone over speed hup to fast (no speed hup), stopped out side reception to book in and petrol pouring out of back of tank. When I'd pulled over I had managed to hook a rock under front suspension and dragged it until it dislodged and rolled along under car till it jammed between rear suspension and petrol tank - splitting the tank  ( very pissed off)
Got a second hand, as new tank off eBay for £49 delivered. (Company converts 107 to all electric so no need for petrol tank) Just got a few more bolts to fit tomorrow and, hopefully the 107 will be up and running again.

This week a few new bits:-
1500w pure sine inverter to replace the 600w one that came with the new (to us) van.
Lafuma XL California table.
Lafuma chairs x 2.
LED G4 bulbs x 10 (£6.99 delivered from China) - and they all work!
Curtain hooks for the new curtains.

A 6 Rung Little Giant Revolution XE ( a ladder to everyone else) and a winter jacket

There is a device known as a 'Mule' which we had fitted to our caravan in 2002 and although they did cause some damage the Itinerants made FOUR attempts to steal the caravan without success. However I'm not sure if there's one for motorhomes but I don't see why not its fairly straight forward to fit. I would be fitted to the chassis with a concealed hole in the floor which allows you to activate it from inside

The MULE apparently they do fit motorhomes

Mule
A so-called 'mule' could be described as an angled leg that's dropped down from the body of the vehicle to the floor. This will dig into the ground if a would-be thief tries to drive or tow the vehicle away.

See if you can find info to the contrary?

You can enjoy Feel At Home whether you’re on Pay Monthly or Pay As You Go, using a tablet, phone, Mobile Wi-Fi or dongle. If you’re on Pay Monthly, you’ll automatically use your monthly allowances and Add-on allowances to call and text the UK and use data, and if you’re on Pay As You Go you'll need to convert your Pay As You Go credit into an Add-on to get an allowance. Feel At Home works as long as you keep roaming switched on.

The answer was a year ago

Other than the questions and answers in the Amazon page that you link to, which suggests you can't use it in France? When I looked last week at Three's SIM only offers they suggest that you need either a contract or an "add-on" (I think that is what they called it) if you were using a PAYG SIM and wanted to use your included data and minutes whilst roaming. But if I can find some confirmation from Three that they can be used used then I will get one too! :)

I can do that myself if I forget to wind up the stablisers, it makes a funny noise as you pull away. Best aide memoire is to put the handle through the steering wheel.

I doubt it The Mule's is activated from inside the MH and once locked any one trying to steal the van can't cos you need a key. Also unlike steadies you won't notice the Mule particularly at night that is until you try to move off. I once forgot it was activated and driving my then 4ltr Disco to tug our van it wouldn't move and the engine stalled. Also if its peeing down its much better than fitting a wheel clamp

Double socket with 2 USB Sockets for home.

All the Aires France. Now comes in 2 separate books. One for North and one for South.
A downside (IMHO) is that it is now in A4 format instead of the usefull A5. Just a bit more difficult to store.

Lidol today Led light strip battery operated with motion sensors ideal for cupboards and storage lockers in MH (3 year warranty)
excellent quality.

Yes, I bought two of those light units too, but not had a chance to fit them yet.

I first saw them in Suggy's MH, as you entered the doorway.

Just been and purchased a brand spanking new cooker from the Hotpoint Factory Shop in Peterborough, at a vastly reduced price compared to the High St, or ao.com. It arrives tomorrow.

Cheers,

Jock.
