THIS week I bought

Cheap and cheerful I would say.
Your joking surely.

Not sure I'd call 16 quid a blade cheap, I paid 15 for three
Nor me. :Eeek:
I have two sets of Truck wiper blades for the Iveco based MH, and I buy rubber refills for them, so one set of blades off when they are duff, and the replacement set straight on, then new rubbers for the duff set purchased and fitted. We are talking less than a tenner to refill the four blades.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Ahh, scoot, and there was me feeling pleased with my purchase  I couldn't see how to get the end cap off safely to remove the rubbers, so hence why I plumped for a new pair.

Unlucky.........on this occasion, but now you have time to suss out how to replace the rubbers before they need replacing again, and, you'll have a spare set too. Win win. (y)

Yes and no sadly, with the passenger side wiper blade, the plastic click button which you depress before pulling the blade out of the wiper arm, that crumbled and broke off leaving just a small thin bar in its place. I wouldn't be comfortable putting that one back in use as it was a complete s*d to remove once the button had disappeared. I will however be able to practice changing the rubbers though :)

Don’t worry it will never ever be going in the van ,just have a few jobs to do in a location with no electricity.

Having hit a shredded lorry tyre on the autovia I thought a full underbody tray would save the expense of the A/C, power steering, water pump & auxiliary belts all possibly being torn off the next time.
75€ delivered from Bulgaria. (y)

A 1 metre coil of 1mm piano wire to keep in the van in case the habitation lock springs break and I need to fashion a replacement. £3.89 inc. postage. Last of the big spenders. 😁

Those that know, know what I have just purchased....................:giggle:

A Renogy 20A DC/DC charger to fit in a friends van - I'll sort it for her over Chrimbo.
Made a cheeky £60 best offer on an Ebay listing, which was accepted.

Had to buy soap dish replacement as I, yes I broke the one in bathroom. I was cleaning the bathroom 👍👍👍👍👍😭

Think packing must have cost more than dishes. 😂😂😂😂😂

Moral of breakage........ stop cleaning bathroom 👍🎄View attachment 990821

I live alone and came to that conclusion 25yrs ago.
Miss Faversham got nothing on me! 😄

Tenax clips and strap
Bought for securing the fridge door to remain closed whilst travelling. The Dometic fridge sliding lock catch works its way loose whilst travelling and the door can swing open.
Could have opted for press studs as a cheaper alternative but part of the stud never seems to remain on the material fir long.
Bought the tenax clips from a boat chandlers as these are designed for securing boat canopies.

Treated my 1980 Honda CB 400 to a new ignition coil.

Still doesn’t want to play nice though.😕

Looks like a Carb strip down in the New Year. Still since it is 44 years old it’s doing OK and gives me something to tinker with.🙂
