Chris
Hi Chris from http://www.365electrical.com/DC59ANIMAL_Dyson-Hand-Held-Vacuum-Cleaner.html
afraid it's gone up to £309 now but I bought it just after xmas and had to wait --may be worth ringing them as I made online enquiry and they then rang me and gave me another 5% off the then online price making it just under £269 (y)Believe me I searched a lot simply because I would not pay the £350 asking price -
I bought one off Curry's to try (and was impressed by it) but you could have money back within 30 days ;)Thought they may knock it down a bit if I took it back but ended up with my money back :D
While I was in curry's I tried it against every cordless they had in stock and it was far better than any --the only 2 I could not try against was the new Bosch upright and a Gtech -trying consisted of emptying the dust collection bin -treading into floor then go over it twice with what ever (next best was a vax) then over other half with the dyson once (y)and for good measure go over what was left from the others with the dyson (y)I must say the dc 35 /and 45 were good and a lot better priced but none came close to any of the dysons and the 59 simply wiped the floor with them all (y)The sales lady looked on in horror as I emptied the bin on the floor but even she was impressed with my test methods and I'll bet money she does the same test with other customers :D:ROFLMAO:

Bought new Aires Guide for France now that Brittany Ferries have cancelled my sailing to Santander in March.

Also bottle of Gin to get over disappointment of cancelled trip!:beerchug:

I've got a Gtech and a dyson as Uprights and the gtech handheld. I don't rate the suction on the handheld gtech, but next time we meet Terry, we can have a suck off game, bet you'd love to vacuum up "the sands of time"

I've just bought some graphite oil in a can and some silicon lubricate in a can, from Lidl. New stock in today.

Too much to list with my retirement lump sum just arrived! But, apart from tools and goodies for the new house, I just took delivery of a (used) Panasonic Toughbook CF30 mk3 military spec laptop.
I will be using it with my telescope, to control it and the camera. I didn't want to take my nice MacBook Pro out in the cold and get it covered in dew/frost/ rain or dust.
And if needed( so I understand, ) I can used it as a wheel chock or extra levelling block!

They didn't work in our garden , that's why we got Ruby our border terrier 16 years ago! Hope you have better luck.

They work in my nieghbours garden which is why they're now targeting my raised beds.
Believe it or not there are cats that have bad hearing so a shovel is the only cure.
I'll do my best to be caring but there is a line!

Next door recently had a refurb. A mix of stone flags but lots of gravel. All the cats see it as a giant kitty litter :ROFLMAO:

Mrs Jaws sounds like my kind of thinker - we have a nice shower curtain on a telescopic curtain rod for our bathroom curtains. The window is an odd size and I can't sew.
Please could we have more details as to where you bought them and how you attach them etc. for the safari room? I think this sounds a very innovative and brilliant idea, please may we copy or have you patented it already?!!! :whistle2: :)

Wilkinsons in Thetford.. Its a sort Woolworths place
They already have 'eyes' in them which will go straight on the existing hooks on the curtain rail in the safari room :-)
Just checked and there are 6 Wilkinsons listed in Hants.
