Di

Did you enjoy your spring compressor time?
They are big boys, and need some compression when I did mine.
Not done them yet, only got springs this afternoon but now I’m concerned with how the spring fits on the plate.
Should the spring fit against this part, green arrow because it’s got a far gap.
I’ve got to get under van and compare original parts

There is a step on the base which will be clear to see where spring seats.

On the photo I show the step and I would expect the spring to register on this but it seems to have no register and the spring has nothing to locate it.

The angle of the downward ramp before the step should match that of the spring and the force that the spring applies when under tension will prevent the spring end riding up the step and this forms the spring location.

A water pump, non return valve, Jubilee clip and some spade connectors, oh and some Co-codamol!
I assume the parts are for the MH or a car ... otherwise it makes me wonder what the co-codamol is for as it's often used for 'headaches'! :giggle:

The spring sits on that ledge and the end of the spring sits against the step on that ledge.

Red circle to red circle. (But spring is smaller on one end (top) so may have marked wrong end)

Yes, after x5 years a part has finally failed on the Globecar side. I'm not the most DIY person on the planet so the Codeine was to calm Mr Fixit 😉

Well hubby went to the local Co-op around noon and came back with this load of discounted grub ... total cost £14.83! One of the doughnuts is now sitting on a plate next to saying 'eat me' :tounge: .... I'm resisting at the moment and letting the sarnie I've had settle for a while but it's taking a lot of will power! :giggle:

A 250aH lithium battery.
Bought from the lithimshop as it is only 40 miles from me and all hand built to order
I also liked the fact it is supplied with and Anderson connector
I already have a programable MPPT solar controller, a Stirling B2B ( lithium selectable ) so all I need do is fit a different mains charger ( I am RARELY on hook up so just went for a 20amp jobby ( lithium specific ) from AliExpress at under £40

That’s an incredible amount of food for the money. You can freeze most of it too.
I’m not sure about those doughnuts. A dozen “chocolate flavoured“ doughnuts for 99p. Have you read the ingredients?
Oh, to hell with it. I’ll try one. The diet starts tomorrow.

A 220v ehu socket but with a sliding cover + aqua8 replacement inlet valves.
