THIS week I bought

I bought two of these Meaco 360 fans, not cheap but they are brilliant, used them in the MH yesterday and they are super good. They work off 240v but also USB. I have the larger version Meaco that I use at home and wouldn’t be without them.

We seem to be spending money like there's no tomorrow at the moment with items to be replaced. Just placed an order for new boiler, our Vaillant is 27 yrs old, been brilliant but needs replacing. Gone with B Gas, not that I expected to but think we've a good deal and we can repay over 3 years at 0% interest.

Ha... brilliant thing is that we will have remote control and when I'm out and management at home I can check if heating is on and turn it down or OFF😁😁

A gas firepit. Impressed with the heat it generates and the pleasing flames. Here it is in use at Thurstaston CAMC.

The grill was just there to see if it could be used as a BBQ. Did nice toasted marshmallows later on. Got to be careful they don't drop into the coals.

Yes that's what we paid from Amazon. I also ordered some extra rocks from eBay to pack it out more when the weather gets colder. i.e. next week😄 we're taking it to the Malvern show.

Must use a lot of gas or would it work as a starter for REAL charcoal?

Don't know about starter. Would make a lot of mess with the charcoal. Had it on Monday night for about 3.5 hours and it used 1/4 of 11kg gaslow tank.
We were only discussing last month how little gas we use..... Not any more!

Does it make nice chips? :)
Oven chips - 15 minutes from the freezer - amazingly crisp. Fresh chips - about 20 minutes with a spray of oil, crisper if soaked first, to get rid of the starch. Both need shaking occasionally!

New switch ordered for the toilet flush. This wouldn’t be needed if the motorhome builders would use an ounce of sense during the build. The button for the flush is under the shower head and not very well sealed.

I bought shares in quick fist clamps to stop things rattling or falling off OEM mounts:

Also discovered Burstner don’t class insulating the rear doors as part of the winter pack so that’s another job to do.

Wound the clock back 43 years to my first car…paid a bit more for this one!
Perhaps it’s not such a good idea to go on the Car and Classics auction site after a few glasses of wine!
Just need a suitable small trailer now…😀
