THIS week I bought

An expensive week for me: A new mattress from Jonic, 2 Brompton folding bikes, a clutch lock, another cctv camera, 2 lithium ion batteries (9 volt) so I can hide the tracker away from the leisure battery and some velcro tape (for the same purpose. Over 2 grand this week .

2 bottle of harris gin :)

Some plastic storage boxes to try and tidy up the garage space in our Apache 700 , only 3 and 1/2 years late

A usb charged electric razor from China for £9.99. Looks great but seems to work by some new system whereby the skin (with hair attached) is trapped in a small hole and the surface of the skin is then chewed and flensed by a blunt, ragged cutting edge. Said hair is therefore shortened but the process is choosy letting some hairs live whilst others perish, all the time inflicting pain on my chin. In other words it's crap and not even worth £9.99. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Buy a Philips razor and you can get a 12v adapter for it from Amazon. Works fine for me.

A repel lamp, which i saw on an ebay advert. It allegedly attracts the mosquitos towardsit via a UV light then sucks them in like a vortex. 45 of your hard earned US dollars from the advert or 9 of your kids inheritance pounds from Ebay. No idea if it is any good or not til i try it. Search facility on MHF indicates nobody has posted about one.
3 of the external Fiamma locks with the same key for habitation door and dual entrance garage. Only 9 screws required and no drilling into outside of van (side plinth of door only) Should have been £136 but a bit of searching got them for £114 and a lady godiva for postage.

A brass ships clock and barometer , mounted on a wooden plinth to go in Moho when we settle on a location . It’s heavy mind so need to think about a strong mounting position

Nearly bought a tyrepal but as we’re away from home until Saturday pm thought it best to wait until tomorrow to order in case it gets delivered promptly ? Can’t wait to try it out

A pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

They are as yet still unwrapped... I'm not sure I can justify the £229 expense even if the retail is ~£300 and even on Amazon they are still £270 :)

I paid £260 for mine a few months ago, they do sound good and the noise canceling works well to my ears anyway

Not very exciting but just bought an automatic watering system for my 3 plants in the greenhouse. We are off to France next week for 6 weeks and my old mate next door has just been diagnosed with something horrible so I don't want him dragging himself round here every day just to water my 3 chilli plants.
