The 12months is the period from when the card is first used that you can use the12Gb of data within that 12 months. When you have used up the 12Gb of data that's the card empty even if it's only a few days into that 12 month period.
Our 12Gb data card from 3 lasts for ages, but we do not stream films and TV online or watch YouTube videos which very data hungry.

Once card is empty buy a new card. DON’T top up your old one. A top up only lasts 30days. A new card lasts 1 year or more.

This week we bought
Cadac Safari Chef 2 and QR connector
Paella pan
2x Telescopic awing poles
Car Radio
Steering wheel control adaptor
Seal for Thetford tank
Stainless steel pigtail connector (rubber one that came with MH was 7yrs old)
New strut locking gizmo for window after GF broke it

Been a busy shopping week

Back from a trip so purchase time off the internet.

German LPG fitting as had trouble at a couple of garages £9.00
A 2 metre square beach mat that the sand seeps through (Yes thats what i thought as well) £8.00
9 collapsible storage boxes £27
2 pairs of internet advertised american shoes that are allegedly waterproof, bendable, comfortable and possible to climb in. £20 each
A 14 plated Honda Forza 300 with 5,000 miles on the clock to commute to work and trundle about on for £3,200.

A 2 metre square beach mat that the sand seeps through (Yes thats what i thought as well) £8.00
Okay, I'll bite ... why would you want a beach mat that lets the sand through? Does it mean it allows sand on TOP of it to 'sieve' away leaving the top clear?

Precisely that.

The proof will be in the pudding when we try it out.

I realise all that and I don’t stream ( whatever that is ) only really use facecloth and surf the inter web but it soon went down to nothing .

Check you're not set up for automatic updates. They absolutely eat data without you ever knowing. 12GB lasts us easily a year, similar use to you.

That’s a good point. Not sure if my huawei mifi can do auto updates but I’ll have a look next time we’re out in the Moho

It won’t be your mifi doing updates but all your computers and phones connected through it. Especially if your photos are automatically transferred to “the cloud” - like Google Photo or Apples iPhoto.

I found it easy to chew through lots of data if all the normal default settings are left in place on the phone and tablet.

Its Facebook that is using more data than you imagine

This week I bought...….

Marmite XO! Better than any motorhome gadget and destined to go in the motorhome if I don't eat it all first, Marmite XO is even more sublimely delicious than normal Marmite. Now back on the shelves of Tesco only, a must buy for lovers of the black stuff.

Marmite haters all dribble grey waste from their motorhomes and claim to have been gassed. True fact.

A pack of 5 raspberry doughnuts from Morrisons ... oh and some other healthier stuff too! :D

Tw small sausage rolls and one bag of jelly meerkats from Windsor Castle Farm Shop - because I momentarily imagined myself to be orfully posh

An awning light to replace the one we broke trying to remove it after discovering that was where the water was coming from that gathered in the searbelt holder and resulted in me travelling with a carrier bag over my chest under the wet seat belt.
