THIS week I bought

A 45g tube of MX-4 Thermal Compound. Having now replaced both electrical elements I've decided to see if replacing the thermal compound will have any effect on stopping the fridge running almost permanently on gas.

And if this doesn't work, next job is taking the b----y thing out again and turning it upside down!

Not very exciting but just bought an automatic watering system for my 3 plants in the greenhouse. We are off to France next week for 6 weeks and my old mate next door has just been diagnosed with something horrible so I don't want him dragging himself round here every day just to water my 3 chilli plants.
You could have taken them with you ... the plants that is! We once had some lettuce plants that we took on holiday and gradually nibbled our way through it, this was before the supermarkets though of selling rooted ones! :D

I can just imagine you in your grass skirt John. :Eeek:
Its not the thought of the skirt that scares me ... its the coconut shells!!!!!

This week I bought elbow grease spray from the £1 shop removed my hub caps and sprayed it on the wheels and the hubcaps left it overnight and did the same next day 1 hour later washed the wheels with washing up liquid and what a difference. Her at home said it wouldn’t work as they only sell diluted cleaners but she had to apologise (1st time in 56 years) now I can’t find it I bet she’s nicked it. Anyone live near Bexley I could do with a lock advisor?

2 new ebikes from Decathlon. They didn’t have the sizes we wanted locally so travelled about 50km to the next store.
They had the bikes in stock, and they had just been reduced by €200 each!
Half an hour later we were on our way home with them with a €400 bonus!

Elbow grease is great on black streaks as well. I use it to clean just about everything.

Recently, a TyrePal Solar Colour. Fitted before trip out for August Bank Holiday . Easy to set up and fit , stays where I put it on top of the dash on it’s included magic stick pad/ mat . The bit that’s puzzling me is that I checked all the tyres with my digital pressure gauge and made sure they were all the same before moving the van but the display is now showing three different readings !
It’s interesting to see how much the pressures and temperatures go up even after only a short drive .

A silentnight topper for the drop down bed, a green card (didn't pay for it though) and a Reich tap for the kitchen sink but they sent us the wrong one.

No use to us now as we leave for Portugal on Wed morning ??.

make sure you point it downhill when cycling the bolt, pellets have a habit of dropping out of the mags backwards in to the action !
at 73 there will not be much cycling going on, only bought it because my gas ram guns are getting a bit hard for me to load, the old Arthritis gets you in the end, bought the compressor and two dive bottles 3l and a 2l, Good to go :giggler:
