at 73 there will not be much cycling going on, only bought it because my gas ram guns are getting a bit hard for me to load, the old Arthritis gets you in the end, bought the compressor and two dive bottles 3l and a 2l, Good to go :giggler:

just a helpful bit of advice, these earn me good money stripping the block to remove jammed pellets, in some circumstances a bad design can be beneficial, but only to some!

get you re the gas rams though, sold my tx a while back, just use the pcp's now, when i acyually get chance lol.......

keep it pointed downhill when cocking etc, otherwise youll be seeing me soon:oops:

A usb charged electric razor from China for £9.99. Looks great but seems to work by some new system whereby the skin (with hair attached) is trapped in a small hole and the surface of the skin is then chewed and flensed by a blunt, ragged cutting edge. Said hair is therefore shortened but the process is choosy letting some hairs live whilst others perish, all the time inflicting pain on my chin. In other words it's crap and not even worth £9.99. Buy cheap, buy twice.
I went mad last year after going back to a safety razor and bought a Feather AS-D2 razor.. not cheap but absolutely superb.. .shaving is an event now not a chore

We just had s towbar fitted and purchased a Westfalia 2 bike rack for it which hopefully will let us use the bikes more often and more room in the garage ...

A Hook_it as seen on Dragons Den,,Not tried it yet but what a money spinner,,must cost at least 20 p to produce..£12.99 delivered but saves
greasy hands when your chain comes off

TWIB............

2 x 125mm x 125mm USB fans.
1 x USB splitter.
1 x USB switch.
All of which I hope to fit to the upper fridge/freezer vent area soon, when all parts arrive. (y)

Oh yes, and a replacement drive belt for a Bosch Exxcell 1200 Express washing machine.

I bought new motor brushes for the same machine last week, and fitted them, before seeing a deal for the brushes and belt.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Deep freezer ours just stopped tried shaking it etc.
So £269 lighter. Originally they said it would be here on the 3rd after waiting in all day I emailed them via the tracker they said sorry it will be delivered on the 11th. Good job we were low on frozen food. Compensation is it will last one week longer. Yes I am a optimist ?

2 new mattresses ... went in the camper to our ex-rental bungalow to cut the grass etc and finish fitting the new kitchen sink and came back with 2 new mattresses (double & king) which we didn't know we were going to be buying! :D2 Fortunately although the camper had the bed in place there wasn't anything underneath them so by removing and stacking them on one side we just managed to get the mattresses in the centre of the camper stood on their sides and slotted in so the ends were in the 'corridor' above the shower tray. Our poor camper doesn't know what's hit it over the last couple of months ... it's carried loads of decorating stuff, tools & equipment, a hob, oven & sink, 2 scooters and now 2 mattresses ... :D ... it's one heck of a MPV!!!

Just wish we had the opportunity to use it as a ruddy camper!

If I was to do it again, I'd maybe go for slightly smaller fans with a higher speed. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Where did you get the dump valve from, because I really should refit mine, when it split I just joined pipes so it’s a bit messy when I need to do anything with taps without the low drain.
Cheers

As much as it pains me to buy anything from Broonfools at Newark :( I had to succumb, as I couldn't find the valve anywhere else, even after trying German websites.......................so here it is Manic.

Hymer Double Dump Valve. I suspect it is a Reich manufactured item.

Jock. :)

Yes, top grill and suction Steve.

Re the power supply. I already have a permanently live USB supply in the MH Steve, so just feeding off of that. I've not interfered with the fridge electrics at all. I did offer Rita an auto function for the fans to keep her specialist meds at the right temperature, but she opted for a manual operation, hence the inline USB switch. (y) Thinking on, I should have bought a switch with an LED "on" indicator. All items as I listed, were off Fleabay.
It's not very often we need to use the fans, but when her meds need to be stored at 2 - 7 degrees, and her digital thermometer is reading 10 degrees (vents on sunny side) she gets concerned, even though my beer cans and bottles are still chilled. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Air suspension via Dave Newell,
2 new mattresses (made to measure)

I am thinking about fitting fans, is there an advavtage fitting usb over 12v?
Also
Are they controlled via a thermal switch?
If not do you only turn them on via the switch during daylight when not on elec hook up?
Thx
Chris

Mirror guards at the Southwest motorhome show for the new IH630RD we ordered at the Malvern show. We will be getting it in October haha so December on our return from Beni , we’ve saved the £10 postage and packing!

This week I bought half shares in a Bench Circular Saw!! to help me finish my son's Loft conversion to a bedroom , took a year so far, I think it's important to help your children even if he is 43:D2;)

Sorry for the delayed response Chris, I've only just seen your post. :(

No advantage of USB over 12v, other than "plug and play" really.

They use so little power, they could be left on 24/7 if required, (even if not on EHU) and they are so quiet, you wouldn't even know that they were on.

(Edited) I may at some stage wire in a USB socket, which would only be live when the 12v master switch is activated, or when the fridge is turned on. Not sure on that one yet.

HTH,

Jock. :)

Still helping and she is 56 and he is 50 great grandchildren next???

Treated ourselves to a king sized quality memory foam mattress and some Casper pillows what a fantastic experience sleeping is again. The pillow seem very hard but so so comfortable.

We are getting ready for our next trip to Spain, so having a bit of a spending spree! Yesterday I had two new Mitchelin Agilis tyres fitted and also ordered the new solar Tyrepal with a couple of extra sensors as we’ve got a tag.
I’ve also had to replace the four airbags on the rear suspension as one of the originals had a small leak. As the system was fitted about 12 years ago I’m told they’ve done very well to last this long!
They were fitted by a very friendly and helpful company called On Air Suspension in Onger, Essex.
I stayed overnight outside their factory and they supplied electric as well:)

Froli bed system. Our ten year old foam cushions were getting a bit past it. The Froli system has made them better than new and gives great adjustable support as well as air circulation under beds and seats. Cheaper than replacement foam and if we change the camper we transfer it to the next one.
