THIS week I bought

New offside Hymer wing mirror, to replace the one that fell out on a Belgium motorway in July

wing mirror1.jpg

I won't say what it cost, as it brings a tear to my eye everytime I think about it

But to cheer myself up, i've booked a pitch at Camping Memling in Brugge to go and see the Xmas market next month :D

Errrr... You mean like I did in post #8178 ???? Which was in response to Minxy Girl who first raised it and was posted before ANYONE else got involved and got their knickers in a knot..
Yes I did read it but it obviously wasn't emphasising enough as the later one was. Your reply to @Minxy Girl was flawed by people¡s eyes catching
so any leak even if it had been left as it is in the picture would only be what was in the 60cm of pipe between the fill point and the tanks.
When in fact what people were concerned about was a liquid leak when filling.
At the end of the day it is safe.(y)

For doggy , fishing gear, shopping transport

For £10 off gumtree it was hard to resist, folds flat and is lightweight for carrying in the MH.

You put the idea in my head, I have booked Camping Memling 10-13 December it will be our first trip abroad with our van. We are going Dover-Calais straight to the CS and wont take our van out until we depart for home, I am hoping I wont go through any low emission zones ?

3 rolls of Duct tape for £5... thats the Xmas shopping done.

I bought the Uuni 3 portable Pizza Oven Gas Burner (to go with the oven and wood pellet burner I was given for my birthday last week). It all folds down into the box for easy transportation in the M/H. Of course, you can use it as a conventional oven too and looking at the videos, will be much better than my Dometic Tower oven which is dire.

Not tried it out yet though (https://uk.ooni.com/)

My son had the same and hosteda party for 50 people all having home made pizza’s work a treat. Use oak pellets as it gives a lovely Smokey flavour

Totally agree. We fired my brothers one up last night; it makes great pizza in 60 seconds using 9" Italian store made pizza bases (part baked) and all Italian ingredients. To be honest, it was all a little too frantic for my liking, having to open the door every 15 seconds to spin the pizza on the stone base. They did get more edible the more we practised though.

Word of warning though; don't test how hot the outside shell gets with your thumb (as I did)! At 350 degrees, it takes only a moment to become very painful!

Looks good Sandra @Armytwowheels , only just spotted it thanks to the morning thread. Very similar to the new one we went to buy at 2015 NEC. So what will you have to jettison to get most of it in, not the scooter surely?

After 30 years of wanting one, I finally bought a woodworking router.. and yes, I remembered to buy some bits for it too

Yesterday it took more than 2 hours to make the first set of extra braces for the shed roof trestles.
Today I made all the remaining ones ( some 12 pieces ) in less than an hour

Mind you, the workshop is now inches deep in wood chips !

I found Toolstation to be about the best on prices for decent router bits.
I only bought cheapies.. It will not get a lot of use but it is nice to finally get a router in my arsenal

Looks a good kit. Where from? What's the compressor look like?

@iDriver:
Very sparse details on the Vb site. Would you mind sharing the cost? Did you ask how much to fit?
I reckon it would be particularly useful for levelling up. If I do get around to buying an MP3 for the back garage, I'll need such a kit.
Thanks

12v to 19v step-up power supply. Planning to install fixed power supply for onboard PC (an MSI Windbox running Linux) to save faffing around with adaptors.
