THIS week I bought

Both of our mum's have been brilliant and put up with a lot of disruption due to our van change. My mum is as house proud as you can get and to have us there filling every available space with our junk must have been pushing her to the limit.

Yes mine is the same ...had she been at home I'd not have got to empty it In to the house lol.

But what she don't know :p

Its good as it gave me a chance to go through everything and only the stuff I really need went in to the new van ...sold or gave away everything else.
I'm now in a smaller van and I've got some empty cupboards and storage space so I'm quite pleased

Anyway, to get this thread back on track - this week I bought a long padded jacket and thermal socks ready for our month or two in a ski resort.

I was quoting from the photo you put.

How have you got an airtight box with a gas drop? Its either air tight or has a gas drop.

Airtight to the habitation area but MUST HAVE a drop vent, exactly as the original gas locker.

Bought this today as we will be away after March so got it just to be on the safe side might not need it but will feel better driving off that ferry from Tenerife in April ,not sure how to get the French one yet as we are away before they realease any (February I think). Also the younger members of our club probably have never seen one before .

I appreciate the actual need criteria is all speculation but being prepared can do no harm. When you say ‘the French one’ may we need a different one for each country? I thought it was an international drivering permit.

As an aside, it’s probably just as well they're taking issuing powers away from the AA looking at the wY they just scribe through the issuing office and write in the correct one :-)

I don’t know why but France is not included on the IDP that I have and I believe I won’t be able to get one that it is until February when we are away .

Been discussed before in another thread. This one is issued under the 1949 convention, but only covers a few countries, I think Spain is one. Most of he rest of Europe requires the 1969 Geneva convention one, which is the one that will not be issued until February 2019. The government is waiting to see if we get a deal on Brexit before issuing the 1969 one

I bought the Uuni 3 portable Pizza Oven Gas Burner (to go with the oven and wood pellet burner I was given for my birthday last week). It all folds down into the box for easy transportation in the M/H. Of course, you can use it as a conventional oven too and looking at the videos, will be much better than my Dometic Tower oven which is dire.

Not tried it out yet though (https://uk.ooni.com/)

Congratulations, looks lovely. Hope you're really pleased with it.

I am not missing anything, yet again another one posts without even trying to understand what is written and does not answer the question he has quoted. I ask again, now the back of the fill adapter and its coupling are in an air tight box, with its own drop vent to the a outside of the Motorhome and all the pipe work is boxed in and sealed again with its own drop vent to the outside how is this any different to having it all in the original gas locker. I have effectively created a second gas locker, if anything that section of the gas system is better isolated from the habitation area than the original gas locker.

If you had stated this from the outset when the pipe inside was first raised then it would have made sense.
In future I will take note of your signature.

As for "several people all getting the same impression" I will refer you to R v Turnbull 1976

As for someone who has to say 'For the 5th time I couldn't really care less', the irony in that statement is highly amusing..
they actually sell a rubber boot to fit over the rear of filling point if its internal so i wouldnt worry about it what youve done makes sense to me

At the NEC I brought the truma CP Plus upgrade kit, including the new circuit board for the boiler,
Fitted and works a treat, so much more flexibility
