THIS week I bought

@iDriver:
Very sparse details on the Vb site. Would you mind sharing the cost? Did you ask how much to fit?
I reckon it would be particularly useful for levelling up. If I do get around to buying an MP3 for the back garage, I'll need such a kit.
Thanks
Not good for levelling. Good for improving ride and handling, and getting extra payload

I installed my system today; it does take some time though.
I found the little spanner for the lock nuts a little tricky to use as it's a little flimsy and the space available around the valve is very tight. They supplied rubber O rings but there is no mention of them in the manual (other than the parts list). I assumed they fit between the sensor and the top cap but didn't fit them.

On mine "O" rings were fitted, the ones in the bag are spares I think.

Ah ha! Makes sense.
Thanks, team (y)

A Ring 900 heavy duty tyre inflator from Amazon, haven't used it yet certainly looks the part and has very good reviews. Buy once buy right which I seem to have done :D

Amazon product ASIN B000W08QZY
Nice piece of kit. I only wish the 7m hose was a bit longer.
Going to order one right now.

Thanks

Bought and fitted a set of Fiamma awning case LED's wired to an on/off dimming touch sensitive switch

Wanting a bit more light under the awning so I bought a pair of LED strips encased in an aluminium casing from Aten Lighting after being put onto them by @Badknee
I wanted to mount these in the channel on the back of the awning front that the awning legs and arms are fixed to but they needed packing out to fit the channel, so by cutting up plastic shims and sticking them to the LED casing with double sided tape they slid nicely into the channel. I then ran the cabling up the awning arms, through into the void behind a top cupboard and switched them again via an on/off dimming touch sensitive switch as with the Fiamma LED's.

Lots of light now under the awning that can be dimmed to suit our mood.

Just found this on a previous post:
Citric acid:
the ratio Truma recommend is 1 tablespoon of citric acid to 1 litre of water”.

I put the whole 1kg in mine and filled up the 136 litres. Run it through all the pipes and taps and left it for 24 hours.

Rinsed it through and no problems at all. Certainly couldn't taste it.

I've done that 4 times now :( even took it a drive after refilling so it would slosh about
Hopefully the next time I fill it the taste will be gone

Did a few quick searches but couldn’t find this covered already, but August returns a lot so I didn’t look through them all.

Came across this following a hint on a YouTube channel The Happy Travellers.

Amazon product ASIN B016DDPABQ
A tv tuner that lets you watch tv through your iPad,iPhone or android device.

We are dropping to 3500Kg so any weight saving is a positive. Delivered yesterday, just tried it in the house on the iPad and it’s brilliant. We get a good tv signal anyway, so the real test will be out on the road in the next few weeks.

iOS video editing.
And another one from the Happy Travellers, they do all their you tube product with this app.

I have tried various free and cheap apps and PC programmes and was about to invest heavily in an i7 Laptop with loads of memory.

This cost me £20, and seems to do everything I want. Link to Web page for product below, and link to a basic you tube tutorial to give you a flavour below that.

Why not just use the various TV channels own online service ?
He mentioned Strictly Results... surely on iPlayer rather than any other box, however small?

Would have been handy if he had put links to the devices he's talking about.

Years ago, I used to have a plug in tuner for my laptop, it worked really well.

I then bought a Sovos 7" tv that I use when not on hookup, a good bit of kit with built in battery

I would certainly buy one of those if I didn't have the Sovos

12v to 19v step-up power supply. Planning to install fixed power supply for onboard PC (an MSI Windbox running Linux) to save faffing around with adaptors.View attachment 267499

Installed and working. Voltage meter showed 18.88v -- close enough for me!

Also inadvertently tested the fuse I'd put in the supply line -- my hand shook as I inserted multimeter probes, causing a short (more gin required -- or less, not sure which). The fuse blew but the step-up device did not -- result.

This week I bought an.....
Air Quality Certificate level 2 (the top rated level for Euro 6 diesel motorhomes). It only cost a few euros but will assist greatly when the French (and others) start restricting access to places by emission levels

ditto Germany - motorhome classification for Austria M2 4.5t so don't need an emissions sticker

Does your reply imply tat mine is only valid in France? I thought it was across Europe?
