THIS week I bought

Now trying to find a diamond shaped bowl is Tanya’s challenge
Please let me know if you find one Mick, we've been looking for 2 years.
Didn’t you all look inside before buying. Angela took one look at the diamond shaped sink in the PL Hymers and said we are not having that! My answer was "yes dear". ;):D2

I installed a bit of calcium in the old backbone; but, im sure the constant grumble and stares of dispair from the sink area will haunt me forever.....

We did consider it when looking but thought that the mighty Hymer conglomerate would undoubtedly supply the necessary diamond shaped receptical to fit.

I use: "it's not my fault, I'm only a man" :)

Get a square one & put it in on the skew :D:D:D
Why not simply use a round one or a smaller square/oblong one ... I find having one that isn't a perfect fit is more useful so that you can pour stuff down the side when washing up etc.

Folding washing up bowl. The shop only had a choice of one and it is a perfect fit and colour! Two fleece covers to chuck over the seats when we are mucky. A small shower basket to hang over the door that accesses the steps to the bed so Little Wife has somewhere to put her book and specs before turning the reading light off. And a pipe and fittings for the gas BBQ we were given the other day.

Total expenditure €27. You can tell I don't have a Hymer :D2

Just picked up one of these beauties for £20 from Wickes
to take away with us. I do have a perfectly good Cadac, but when I've got time, I do like the smell and taste of a proper barbeque.

Or simply wash up in the sink? What is it with women and washing up bowls? (My wife always has one but I try to hide it/leave it at home/accidentally put it on a hot cooker.)

Just ordered a 3.2m telescopic ladder to keep in the van, with free next day delivery to a site of my choice and the warden is happy to take the delivery at the site office tomorrow for me.
(Problem with my kayak rack in case anyone is wondering)

Advantages ... if you have 'dregs' in the cups etc you can pour it down the side of the bowl, you don't use so much water, don't scratch the sink, is easier to clean and can be easily replaced if it gets marked, it also helps to keep the water hotter as a stainless steel sink soon cools it down ... plus a bowl comes in handy for other stuff too.

I'm now educated.............

I may now try ths washing up lark........
If you do make sure you use too much washing up liquid and splash soapy suds everywhere. Oh .... and leave a few bits on the plates. I did that a couple of time and the wife has now banned me from washing up at all in the motorhome and at home.

Doesn't work here .... I just put them back in the washing-up pile so he ends up doing them again and again until he gets them clean ... so in effect he's just making more work for himself!

If my wife did that it would give me even more excuse to chuck all the suds about.
... Nah ... I bet you just want to get hold of her marigolds ...

My advice is break something expensive, especially if it has sentimental value - I have to fork out for a replacement, which I'm happy to do as it means no more washing up for me :)
