THIS week I bought

I’ve just ordered a Heosolution Motorhome door lock from Amazon, a bit weird the pricing of it ?, but to cut the story short £72.00 delivered, just got to wait to get it and fit it.
Also brought 2 new Pang tyre valve extensions to fit to the front wheels (£5.00 delivered) to go with the 4 extensions I’ve already brought for the rear wheels, and then I can install the 6 TPMS sensors and dash screen all ready for Germany

Crit' Air vignette for our new acquisition.

I still don't understand why we have to go to the trouble of ordering and displaying something that probably costs more to market, produce and ship than it costs. In these days of ANPR cameras there doesn't seem to be any point in having a sticker.

Had to invest in a pair of these things to save any more arguments with over zealous pool attends in France in a few weeks time , it seems they don’t like baggy swimming shorts and yes that is me modelling them (I am such a Liar ) :)

Loving the posh leather crocs!! You will look the bees knees !!(y)

The thing is that they have different standards of de-rigueur.

What you need in rural France are a pair of shapeless trousers or overalls in bright blue, known as travail bleu (don't under any circumstances refer to them as Trafalger blue for obvious reasons), an old cloth cap (only poseurs and eccentrics wear berets these days) and a pair of brown (not green) Aigle wellies. That outfit along with a Citroen C15 or Renault 4 van, or if you are really posh; an Iveco 3 tonne tipper, will allow you to blend in with the locals.

Just bought:
  • A second flip key for the camper at a cost of £214 plus programming (nearer £300 all in)
  • A second hab key (for the toilet locker and water filler cap) at a cost of £36
  • A couple of new Sonnerschein gel batteries at a cost of £304
Fortunately our dealer is paying for these as they can't find the original second set of keys and fitted the wrong type of hab batteries which aren't supported by our charging unit.

I've ordered a Votronic MPP 250 solar regulator from Germany which we're paying for ... :D

Also booked into Fiat to get the scuttle re-sealed and the EGR and intercooler checked as they may need replacing due to recalls.

Maxxfan deluxe with remote -
I had the new version with the clear lid fitted by Roadpro yesterday, very impressed with both the fan and the installation.
Now have a Heiki 400 x 400 vent for sale cheaply if anyone interested.

Some cycling shorts with padding from Aldi £7.99!
(I'll let you know if they work sometime!!

Ordered a Tyrepal Solar kit back on 17th April for delivery to me out in France. Promptly despatched the same day to Heathrow, where RM managed to put it on a Cyprus-bound flight, where it enjoyed a week-long holiday in Larnaca....o_O

Finally arrived yesterday and fitted inside half-an-hour(y)

Bit of retail therapy from John Lewis today with a pair of these. Incredible bit of technology really comfortable to ware with proper noise cancelling that really works and amplification when you turn the noise cancelling off making a proper hearing aid that picks up any sound a mile off. Two for the price of one.... :) Recommended... (y)

Just ordered the following and sold the motorhome. Couple of reasons , we have changed the way we holiday in that we stay in one place for longer periods , we are starting to take the grandkids away and the caravan gives us more flexibility , and I fell out of love with the motorhome and especialy the dealer.

Anyway by the end of June we will be tuggers with Discovery Sport and Elddis Crusader Storm

Well the lock arrived today Saturday 5th, haven’t had the time to fit it as yet, but it does look like the dogs doodahs can’t wait to get it fitted

A mighty chinese mile-muncher 125cc with a whole 11.25 bhp
:LOL::LOL::LOL:
Very nice! How does that work with the weights, though? ULW 136kg, permitted total weight 190kg. Not a lot of leeway for driver, let alone pillion, unless I've got it all wrong!

Just had (Friday) our van valeted again by @FJmike @ Motorhome Valet at the Crown Inn, Cerney Wick. Once again a stunning job, looks just like it came out of the showroom. Would never hesitate in recommending Mike to anybody, but be warned; he does get very booked up! (Just to say I have no connection to Mike other than being an extremely satisfied customer!).

I didn't see that... :(All I saw was the bikes weight when I looked... I've no idea what it means, it does seem a weird number as you say as that would be a max of 54kg for the rider - which is my right leg, what about the rest of me?:LOL::LOL:
