THIS week I bought

Or simply wash up in the sink? What is it with women and washing up bowls? (My wife always has one but I try to hide it/leave it at home/accidentally put it on a hot cooker.)
I threw our bowl out too as they're rubbish, takes up washing space, gets dirty and greasy, so it's the sink all the way........for SWMBO, as it's a designated PINK job:)

Just picked up one of these beauties for £20 from Wickes
to take away with us. I do have a perfectly good Cadac, but when I've got time, I do like the smell and taste of a proper barbeque.

We've just gone the other way :D2

A friend gave us his old Cadac and I've just taken the charcoal BBQ out of the garage and put the newly refurbished gas one in there instead.

I agree with you about the taste. We have an old cast iron pot belly BBQ set up in the garden all the time and we took a folding charcoal BBQ with us in the old van, but a lot of sites that we've been on didn't allow charcoal BBQs.

Advantages ... if you have 'dregs' in the cups etc you can pour it down the side of the bowl, you don't use so much water, don't scratch the sink, is easier to clean and can be easily replaced if it gets marked, it also helps to keep the water hotter as a stainless steel sink soon cools it down ... plus a bowl comes in handy for other stuff too.
Totally agree. We have a weird shaped sink in our Frankia. Bought a small round bowl from one of the Chinese shops in Spain. Doesn't match the contours of the sink but it does the job however it does looks a bit like a babies potty. (actually maybe it really is!).

So you (& my better half) say. I just rinse cups & plates first.

No, don't fall for that one, it's a trick......besides, that's a PINK job as well :think::giggler::blush::imoutahere:
In this van it is already.

A couple of Efoy cartridges. Collected them from Fuel Cell Systems in Hungerford.

A curtain rail for the back of the camper so I can put up my long thermal curtains for when we use the van in winter! :D Oh and a couple of jubilee clips to keep in the camper ... just in case! :D2

Went to the show at Newbury, just to research different vans, layouts etc. you understand. Came away with a yellow sticker, yearbook, and after lots of debate and some haggling, a receipt for the deposit put down on a used Campscout. Oops!

@Paul_Oxon which model of Globecar have you bought, there’s quite a few members with the Globecar brand and lots of threads posted, they’re a great van.

I went for the Campscout. I wanted to look at a few vehicles including the Campscout and Campscout Revolution, the Wildax and Westafalias, and any other similars. I was struggling to justify to myself the costs of a new vehicle, then saw this one for sale.

I did like the idea of the Campscout revolution but was impressed with the under-bed storage in the Campscout and wasn't sure that climbing ladders to go to bed was really me (y)

... I wonder if we have a Globecar gathering if we can get them to breed .... :D

Needed a new camp bed for when we take the grandkids away, old one not fareing too well after being used as a trampoline and we have an extra sprog with us this year.
Almost bought from go outdoors, but saw very similar in Argos for about £8 less went to get today all gone :(. Didn't have go outdoors card or discount voucher so had a quick look on google. Aldi that wonderful place has them on offer from tomorrow also the self inflatable matresses we need. Ordered on line will be despatched tomorrow. :D2

While waiting to take delivery of our first MH in June we've been quietly collecting all the 'bits' we need.
Today we had a 'biggy'! We had our driveway concreted and a security post put in place.
I just wish June would come a bit quicker, not that I want to wish my life away:whistle:

I know the feeling! 12 more days until we collect ours, it feels like 12 months!
Meanwhile I collected 4 crates of stuff (Air fresheners, Beam deflectors, Chocks, Duct tape, Extension cables, Fuses, GoPro, Hammer... all the alphabet!!)
They're all weighed as well to ensure we stick to the payload.
Roll on 6th of June!!

2 recliner chairs with drinks holders and a digital drum kit for my darling wife who has said for years that she’d love to learn to play the drums, the bonus is she can use headphones and all I’ll hear is tapping on rubber pads. I also got her 3 lessons to get her started off on the right foot.

You know nothing about drumming......you start on the LEFT foot!
