I always wondered what the blobs mean on the fridge temperature control. I bought this. It has 2 remote sensors. This is gas on 2 blobs!

@poki ... oh hell ... you'll now have to get a caravan to pull behind it ...

Hmmmm, that’s interesting, do you have a link please?
It was off eBay. Came from China, only took a week. Don’t have info on me but try searching fridge temperature remote display . You can also set high / low alarms I thought would be useful if the fridge electric or gas stops

ferry ticket for our autumn trip

1kg fire extinguisher and fitted it neatly. It was a advisory on recent habitation check.

Unlike my car, our last two vans haven't had cruise control, so I promised myself that our latest new-to-us van would have. Guess what... the one we ended up buying didn't.. doh..

Don't depair, Dave Newell to the rescue. He fitted me a lovely after market system that works very similarly to my car.

Thanks Dave @dave newell lvs , good to meet you and the cruise works a treat...

Long reach socket set to get at the belt tensioners to get the back wheel off one of my bikes.

It was easier to buy a new one than mount an expedition into the far reaches of my garage to try and locate one of the several sets I already have in there somewhere.

Hi Andy
The user guide Dave gave me says it's an AP900 series. I think, from memory, there's more specific info on Dave's website
I know I only got it fitted today but it seems to work just as well as my car (an old E class Merc)
Cheers
Steve

I know the feeling! 12 more days until we collect ours, it feels like 12 months!
Meanwhile I collected 4 crates of stuff (Air fresheners, Beam deflectors, Chocks, Duct tape, Extension cables, Fuses, GoPro, Hammer... all the alphabet!!)
They're all weighed as well to ensure we stick to the payload.
Roll on 6th of June!!
Seven more days John, I can only imagine how you feel:D
We've still got 28 days to go and we're buzzing, excited and strangely nervous;)

I do most of the driving, and also empty the casette, John gets to fill us up with fresh water.

Just treated Daniel to this platform ladder Aldi Special Buy (so he can do his own valet next time). Due for delivery 5 June will report back if its decent.

Ah Boyes stores indeed. Can buy almost anything there. Scarborough family. Used to know them way back. They predate but almost invented the pound shop idea.

I am going to test people's memories here and ask if anyone remembers Jacko and Dinah who used to live in the Scarborough branch of Boyes?
