I don't like radio controlled clocks ... we bought one once from Lidl (in the UK) but found it would only set to the usual Euro-land timezones!!!

12 tonnes of 6mm-12mm gravel for our 250M² parking area behind the house. Have to say my missus didn't have work hard pulling it all into place. Well done lass.

We bought one from Lidl a couple of years back that did that so I took the glass off the front and the hour hand and replaced the hour hand back the hour it was out.
A 16 mile round journey to Lidl so it was the cheaper option as I'm sure I could whistle for them reimbursing my fuel cost.

Done it now deposit paid ,will have to start saving hard now lol. Roll on jan 2019. Don’t suppose any other funsters going ? I know it’s very expensive but it’s a retirement present to myself .

Is that really over £6,000 to visit the canary islands?
I know what your saying and I was expecting this but I know one of the ferries cost nearly £2000 and I guess the canary’s are a place not many people go in their motorhomes so there is not a lot of advice on touring there so for me as a one off it’s I think worth the money I know there are people out there that could probably do it for a lot less but I am not one of them ,horses for courses . I would also like to go to Morocco but would not go there on my own so would pay for someone’s experience again. (y)

I think my point would be that it is one of the few places in Europe that seems better visited by plane using hotels and hire car.

I agree with you Peter except in my case about 20 years ago when we did use planes and hotels we at a hotel and the view from one of our hotel bedroom windows was of about 15 motorhomes parked up overlooking the beach and I promised myself one day I would return and do just the same so that’s my justification .

Sorry for my scepticism. No justification needed really is there when it comes to spending your own money? Just enjoy it.
