The resurrection of Doc, bringing a 20 year old neismann Bischoff Flair back to life after 12 years off road.

I'm gonna start saying

"It's an injustice "

Here's another one , I ordered a drl light relay on ebay 3 days ago .... what did i receive today . A fecking cat collar with an apple tag holder

I contacted the seller..

They replied with a list of instructions for me to pack up the cat collar. Print a label. Take a photo of package , Take it to post office , post it , then they will send a replacement or refund me when they receive it.

I told them not to bother I'll just leave them appropriate feedback and open an item not received case through ebay

Why do these people think I should have to do all this work to amend their mistake?

Its an injustice I tell ya

The poster's avatar has moved to the middle on mine. The country flags is still missing though.

Must agree with you on this one, why should we have all the mither of sending it back when it's their fault.

Aye ... I mean its hardly an expensive item . The drl relay was £5.45 , this daft collar they've sent costs £3.85 on their page .

They want me to find someone with a printer then piss about walking or driving to a post office etc . And despite me sending them photos showing the wrong item they don't refund or replace till I've done all that

Ridiculous absolutely ridiculous.

I'll live without the £6 and give the collar to a cat owner.

But their feedback will not be good

They don't collect wrongly supplied items either you've still to go to post office.

90% of the time I've no hassles with ebay.

They'll refund me in a weeks time regardless

Why not get a cat and save the £6 or get the dog to wear it.

What throws me is on ebay you fill in a bit called your garage, i have all the details filled in for my van and it will then show me the parts that are supposed to be for my van. Some listing it will say yes others it says no .

But there are shocks listed for this both monroe van magnum but have different lengths yet both say they fit this van 🤔
I've had similar experience so now just contact seller with reg number and let them sort the item required, Works for me.
Cheers, Dave

Aye I did that but my registration number comes up as " other italian" which is a pain

Our Reg No is often not recognised, so I have to go through the form filling process to identify the correct vehicle. If at a Parts Dept or a Motor Factor, I have to use the VIN No.

I had one chap at a Fiat Parts Dept a few years ago, tell me that my Fiat Ducato based MH didn't exist. "Of course it exists, I've been driving the bleddy thing for years." I went round the corner to the Peugeot Citroen Agent and got what I needed instead. 🤷‍♂️

Cheers,

Jock. :)

If we can't sleep and are awake early, we often hit the road in the dark mornings in France, stopping for breakfast whilst the commuter rush is on, before continuing, so I am keen to try ours out with the adjusted beams and higher output bulbs. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. ;)
Drove on the dark on arrival in France yesterday (Ducato base) - headlights are shocking. Not an experience I want to repeat in a hurry in fog and drizzle.

Hence the adjustments I have made to the headlamp beams, and changing the bulbs for those providing "up to" 200% more light. We'll see in January (pun intended), if my efforts have made a difference. ;)

Jock. :)

Oh I did my fair share of repairs out on the street too lol.
Old school.... 🙂

Some iveco problem because its a motorhome. Had the same issue with moby

The reg doesn't come up on the system
Same here Tam. Ours is registered on the V5 as an IVECO Niessman. 🤷‍♂️

One quote for a new alternator shot up by over £100, and reduced the warranty to12 x months only, when they discovered the alternator would be fitted to a Motorhome. WT? 🤷‍♂️ Needless to say they didn't get my business, but Quinton Hazell Direct with their 24 x month warranty, got it instead. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)
