You are removing the satellite dish, is that for cleaning or are you getting rid of it. Only asking as I have one on my van but never really watch tv as got fire stick and wi fi etc. so not used
if you got rid what would you put in its place?
I'll never use it and it's probably too old . I tend to just download movies and boxsets and watch those. If I want to watch TV then I have a portable digital areal that works fine ..

The space it occupied will be filled with solar.

I could give you pair a big kiss 💋 😘

I've just been out to check and yes the front seats lift up and swivel all from that one lever and are level with the rear ...that's bloody amazing . I had looked and thought they'd never be at the same level and that's why they didn't turn but they do .. I'm so chuffed I could break dance as it really makes it a nice lounge now. The dogs will be so pleased as the girls lie on the front seats but I always feel they're out the way then so now they're able to socialise.

Brilliant 👏 👏 absolutely brilliant View attachment 943272View attachment 943273
Tam whatever you do dont break dance someone your size is guaranteed to knock the fridge over ;)

One happy puppy now he can get om the chair .

And old TV removed. I'll be putting my own one in the cabinet above the fridge.

But I have plans for this old space .

Now that it's dark you may be able to see the slight water staining round this big heki skylight . I think the big ugly panel they put over it though was a bit excessive.

I need to test this to see if the motor still works and if it does I was thinking I might just fit a rocker switch to it and open it via a switch rather than a remote. If it's completely knackered I'll try and find a manual opening one to fit in it's place as to be honest I found the remote one in my frankia a right pain in the ass

You are both doing a great job Tam but Northernraider read the beep beep manuals, amazing the things you find out.
do understand the man thing, john never reads the manuals then get's annoyed when I say how something works or where something is.
I however would read the back of a corn flakes packet.
That pup looks so comfy too.

You can still get the exact same board if you wanted to fill the TV hole or anything else, Phoenix still use it, actually that's part of the reason we didn't buy a Phoenix ;) as lovely as our Flair was (and yours is) we were changing and wanted/needed something different.

it's good to see Milo sleeping on his own Tam. You did the right thing stopping him sleeping in the bed with you. As they say cruel to be kind. My dog slept on my bed for 10 years then the vet told me to stop making him walk upstairs for my comfort as he had seen terrible injuries from elderly dogs falling downstairs. He slept downstairs for the last 4 years of his life with his doggie brother and was absolutely fine (y)

We need a little bit where would you get it from the board?

Looking at the first photos that surround looks like the original
Neither of these are original , the big skylight obviously leaked at somepoint and they put that panel around it to hide the watermarks. The marks aren't bad ..they may clean up.

The surround round the aircon one confuses me ..unfortunately they've used glue and I'm not sure how good that will clean up if I remove the aircon unit

Pity I'm not still with you Tam. I have solutions to hide ceiling damage that would look original. I'll talk to you about it if needed.
One important lesson for you Tam......read the manuals! They tell you stuff you don't know. Keep going pal

I think he has some fridges for sale if yours turns out to still not work

Sorry if anyone has already said this. I'm catching up, It means you batteries are going down and the CBEsetup turns stuff off in order of importance
There has been about 10 pages since then Jon  it's a fast moving thread this one, but yes you are correct except the manual for CBE says that message comes up after you have put in the SOS fuse, Tam has also identified that he needs the little battery changing on the back of the CBE panel.

He also has the proper manual from N+B but not read it yet:LOL:

Can I ask a rookie question?! Our control panel was beeping randomly in France but when on EHU didn't seem to do it. Where would I find the control panel battery? If our Arto has one? 🙈

Right , we connected one of the other batteries back up and it made no difference. I removed the control panel and yes that small battery has leaked or corroded so I'll order one of those. However as I get no gas or anything with the panel off I cleaned the small battery just now and refitted the panel. Tried switching it on... the first 2 attempts it just beeped and went off again but 3rd time it stayed on and is still on at the minute will see how that fairs. I've got EHU back on and charger connected to recharge batteries but they still showing 13+ volts so I think they're OK just now and it's either that battery on control panel causing probs or something else

I did find put though that the satellite system was wired direct to batteries and I've now removed that cable .. so only the power cables now running ro the batteries from the electric boxes in big locker so I'm wondering why they have the batteries si far away and can I relocate battery to inside that big locker next to the charger.

So for now the panel is on I'll see how that goes overnight , I'll order a battery for the controller. The fridge is upside down till tomorrow. Just smiffy is watching gran prix and I'm going on roof after lunch to remove satellite dish

Oh and that short arse scratched me new van 😭😭😭 nae patience he has .

That big box is definitely charger and not an inverter View attachment 943033View attachment 943035

I've not had a chance to read all comments etc so if I've missed any ill get them later
Mine had 2 of the standard chargers and neither was putting much out so I junked them and bought new. Would I do the same again? no because I hardly use it because the solar almost always takes care of it. If I knew then what I know now I would just get a cheap battery charger and hook it up for now.

btw, the panel battery isnt easy to change, if original its a solder in job and a bit of a modification. Ive got a threadon it somewhere but can't find it. Grasmere9 I suggest you have a look too.
