Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

So your a dribbler.
Not normally but I had opened the valve to drain took out my hose to fill tank etc obviously it finished draining and when I put hose back in after filling I forgot to turn valve off closed hatch and moved van back to parking spot.

Even when I shut the drain valve we dribble as we move off, because there is a horizontal section in the pipe downstream of the valve whch holds a bit of water till we move - worse on some slopes. Always looks like we have left valve open.

Its only soapy water... no-one's going to die!! :D
You would think I'd poured acid over the ground the look on that Frenchmans face.

Roll on a few hours there's a Dutch couple squeezed in behind me in the biggest van you've seen ...a big silver Phoenix. They have 2 chairs and a table out ...he's just had his washing machine out done a load of washing got it hanging on a rotary drier lol
He's been decanting buckets of smelly water out the van and pouring it around the trees alongside our vans.....wouldn't mind but it stinks.

Unlike my fresh lynx excite scented shower water this morning

No pleasing some folk eh

Trying telling that to French motorhomers. I did the exact same on a busy aire, only in our case it was just a bowl of washing up water. The Frenchman in the adjacent van banged on the door shouting 'dangereuse, police' and other expletives. I told him in my best 'O' level French that it was only a drop of grey water. I then pointed out the 40/50 cigarette butts that he'd discarded from his moho window, and he shrugged his shoulders. He was still ranting and and raving so I told him to 'foxtrot oscar' before I gave him something to moan about, and I wasn't talking about 'entente cordiale'.

We've had similar behaviour aimed at us.... yet they seem to think its OK to let their dogs shit all over the place and not pick up!

Well I'm still in murcia on the thader aire but moving on tomorrow ...inland a bit towards albacete I think

Tam did you not have a discreet fig leaf to cover yourself up while you went out to turn the tap off !!!

I’m sure the females on the aire would tell their men to leave you alone, on the other hand maybe they would relish a vision like that every morning, it would make their day.

I think it's because there's a few funsters live in France and Spain so have motorhomes registered in those countries.

No idea where they get the large stickers maybe get them made up themselves.

I was only kidding about hiding :p I did walk past the van and it's an English couple but I didn't stop as I was on the way to the bins.
Service area was now empty so took Toby over and emptied and filled up. I'll likely stay here 2 nights anyway as I want to give Toby a clean and do some washing but I will also cycle in to murcia city again for a look around.
Off to see if the hyper Asia has jesus sandals in my size then I'll have a walk around decathlon.
I have a large funster sticker in the back window ( didn’t know it meant that!!) mine was from Jim at a Chester meet I think they were for RVs!!

Try following that on a motor bike & death is possible ☠️
As a biker I try to not follow stationary vehicles as yes death certainly is possible if you ride in to them.

Especially if they happen to be a big hairy Scotsmans hoose

I heard the bigger the sticker anthea the more "fun" you've had. :p

I'm actually at a loss where to go today.
Looking in land to albacete I did all that area last year and didn't see anything that exciting.

I have to double back at somepoint next week to collect milo so I'm just not up for driving a few hundred miles inland only to come back in a few days.

But I've also done cartagena etc too so it's decisions decisions. I figure it's always a little warmer nearer the coast this early on but it's also an area that motorhomes aren't the most welcome.

I really wish Sharon had organised milo better as this was arranged before Christmas that id collect him the 20th.

If I'd know earlier that wasn't possible if have travelled down slower.

I'm only going as far south as Mallaga on this trip and I had kind of thought I'd go from there in the direction of toledo Madrid zarragoza etc on the way back to south France and possibly go through Andorra as I couldn't on the way here.

So I had planned to collect milo and then head to Almeria

I obviously don't want to go that way just now as I'd have to come back.

Grrrrrr bugger knows where's best

Must admit, I always feel a bit conscious approaching strangers and asking them whether they're 'Funsters.' It's OK if they are, but if they've never heard of 'Fun' they could easily think I was offering them something else . I tend not to do it, unless I'm pretty sure they are. I think the last person I did it to was @Clarky on an aire in France. :)

Well I decided to go exploring and I found this place just a few miles outside Murcia city.
Santuario de nuestra señora virgen de la fuensanta murcia.
Jees that's a bloody mouthful I challenge you to say that holding 3 Maltesers in yer mouth.

Anyway

I then spotted these caves ....And well it's kinda one of those things you simply have to explore so we climbed on up for a look ...jade is getting really good at rock climbing I'm well impressed. Looked like someone had been living in one of them.
