I think it's because there's a few funsters live in France and Spain so have motorhomes registered in those countries.

No idea where they get the large stickers maybe get them made up themselves.

I was only kidding about hiding :p I did walk past the van and it's an English couple but I didn't stop as I was on the way to the bins.
Service area was now empty so took Toby over and emptied and filled up. I'll likely stay here 2 nights anyway as I want to give Toby a clean and do some washing but I will also cycle in to murcia city again for a look around.
Off to see if the hyper Asia has jesus sandals in my size then I'll have a walk around decathlon.

We called in at the Thader/Ikea Aire yesterday - just to use the services as found it too much of a ghetto to want to stay. :rolleyes: We ended up overnighting by the so-called Pink Lagoon near Torrevieja - a quiet spot at least, just us and one other van. Not much to see or do here tho’ but there is a handy Mercadona.

We’ll be bimbling around the area inland from here, maybe Novelda then Jumilla. If you see a gold Bürstner Ixeo 680 (also no Fun sticker!) on British plates beginning PJ, that’ll be us. You’re very welcome to call in if you see us - or ignore us if you prefer! ;)

It is a busy spot but handy for getting shopping and laundry done. I'm surrounded by Germans again lol feel like an extra in shindlers list:p

Novelda and jumilla are nice there's a nice castle and sanctuary at jumilla and a very ornate church at novelda I visited them last year.

You not go up to the castle? Or the have a look round the bull fighting ring? Or the Volvo round the world boat race museum at the marina?

Even having a cold drink and doing a bit of people watching at the bar outside the casino is fun. The beggars are a pain in the ass though. Absolutely relentless.

The castle is a bit pants I was parked next to the smaller one and you can see the castle from there so I looked with binoculars lol
Its no braw.

Cycled in to murcia city for something to do ...not as busy there this time think I'm maybe a month earlier than I was last year.
Not many pics but I do like the cathedral there.

And then took jade back to the van sorted out my washing and I've cycled down to the wee laundrette at the petrol station

I've decided spain either smells of drains or mariuana....guy sat here at the laundry with the biggest joint I've ever seen ...his eyes are like fried eggs lol

I really liked the castle when I went there, the views are fantastic and there is a great bar/ restaurant up there which is nice.

I thought it looked more like one of those ww2 type forts you see all over the place so didn't bother going to see it. I'm a big fan of castles but I like the right old ones.

Was just an overnight convenience stop for me there really
 
OMG Tam! what are you like?
It does look comfortable, tho Jade looks a trifle suspicious. It also doesn't have a fastening on the centre chest which would have prevented her pulling.
It does however look like it will be a comfortable "travelling " harness.

The fastening is on the back same as the other ones I had ...she's good and doesn't pull on the harness jist the collar so I only use a lead with harness now. But her orange one I felt was rubbing her skin behind front legs and I didn't like it.

This one is good for her seatbelt and when on the bike too though.

Didn't want to buy milo one yet as guessing the sizes is hard going so I'll wait till I get him.

I also bought them both other matching collars lol ....leather ones with little doggy paws on

Well you've brightened a wet thundery day/ evening. Many, many years ago (while I was working at a boxer breeding /showing kennel I met a giant of a young man,he was about 6'6"tall and wide, he bred and showed tiny Yorkshire terriers.
I begin to wonder if you were related,
His voice hadn't broken,and hearing his high piping voice encouraging these little creatures to trot out in the showring "come now Tinkerbelle trot for Daddy".
It was a job to keep a straight face!
I seem to remember when not in the ring the little dogs had their hair up in rollers. - thank goodness Jade and Milo have short hair! :LOL:

It's good to see and hear you "spoiling " her Tam.
I think you are both the best thing that has happened to each other and Milo has a hard act to follow but I am sure he will be equally loved and spoiled by you both. :)

Damn, I can still hear that song, and I didn't even press play on your link! Got to get it out of my head. Off to play some Faith No More now. And maybe some Nine Inch Nails. Something quiet and melodic from the 90's. :whistle: Maybe a bit of Rammstein as well, for a Neue Deutsche Härte antidote!

Well that was a rather embarrassing start to the morning.
I thought since I was parked on the aire I'd have a Long luxurious shower this morning, condition me mop etc have a bit of a shave etc. So I puts on some reo speedwagon. Gets in shower ...singing along covered in soap and I mean covered I had shower gel all over me and I'm in the middle of lathering up the hair glasses outside in the handbasin and jade starts barking so I'm shouting gonnae shut up daddies in the shower I'll be out in a minute. Then I hear banging on the door and then on the back panel of the van and someone shouting loud enough to drown out roll with the changes. I opened the shower door grabbed the bath towel and slipped and slid my way from the shower to the door grabbing me specs as I went. Still covered in soap I opened the door immediately setting the bloody alarm off to find 2 guys standing there one French one Spanish pointing to back of van and saying you are pouring water all over the ground .....
Oh Please! I'd only gone and left the bloody waste tap open when I used the services yesterday.

So my shower is all over the bloody aire.

I of course proclaimed my error etc but so embarrassed lol must have looked a right state and the buggers never even cracked a smile.

Not sure I'll stay a second night lol
