Could you set an alarm and take tablets a few hours before getting up properly and see if they kick in to ease the pain?I know but it's hard doing nothing .....I'm all sunburnt
Think I might try going back to work tomorrow night

I've 2 furry alarm clocks they tend to start licking me about 8am so I just take the pills then and by 9am I can sort of get up lolCould you set an alarm and take tablets a few hours before getting up properly and see if they kick in to ease the pain?

It's a little better ...still stiff and a bit sore but I've been taking painkillers every two hours since WednesdayHow's your back Tam?
Take it easyIt's a little better ...still stiff and a bit sore but I've been taking painkillers every two hours since Wednesday
I'm booked in for Toby's mot next Tuesday...08.30 which is a ridiculous time of day ...but hopefully be a straight pass.
I'll then have to see if they can do my cambelt change and brake fluid change as I still haven't got anyone to do it.
No I want to get mot done first then ask them when I'm there to give me a quote to do the cambelt etc and insist that they only have the van in and out in the one day as I'm living in it.Tam
If you want the cambelt change on the same day I think you should ask them to book it in now as it is a 2-3 hour job.

I use a friend of a friend ...my mates a self employed mechanic and mot inspector but his premises aren't big enough for my van so it's a friend of his who has a bigger garage ....Alan's autos in cairneyhillWho do you take it too for the mot ?
Oops, obviously meant Milo. Only just seen your postToby is the van
It's fine now thanks...back to normal thanfully.Hi Tam, you OK? How's your back now?
Yeah side saddleDoesn't Milo sit funny...
That's apparently the "look mum I'm a rug" positionMy spaniel used to sit like that. And she would lie down on her tummy with all four legs outstretched sideways!
Good luck!Mot time for toby .....why do I always get nervous ?
Wish me luck
