for a non-religious person you .seem to be putting yourself through considerable grief to take a picture of a shrine.
good on you though! coz I, along with so many others on here, get so much enjoyment (not to mention education) from seeing your pics and following your travels.
Couldn't agree more about the idiot following the lorry on his scooter, although bt some miracle he seems to have survived long enough to have passed his test!
Jades' ears seem to be doing there own thing lately, has she got something going on with her teeth? I can't remember what age she was reckoned to be - some times ears and changing teeth go together or maybe it's just part of her growing up and the ears are because her daddy was a Podenko.
Keep up the fitness regime Tam, it's good for both you and Jade and we're all mighty proud of you as we sit back in our deep fireside chairs and look on.

Ha ha well to be honest i didn't walk up there for the shrine more for the view and the achievement. I didn't get the view sadly but I did get the achievement....although every muscle aches and I could sleep lol.

Guys and 2 girls were actually running up and down that which credit where's it due was amazing as some bits ,( a lot of bits ) are incredibly steep.

Mum's now managing to walk herself to the toilet using the frame with no help , her catheter is out and today she had her hair done she's looking much better ehic is great and such a relief.

Sister says she can take her out the hospital for a bit in the car so she can go home for a cup of tea.

So glad to hear that Mum is doing well & certainly looking far,far better than before christmas. Good to hear that she might be discharged shortly also.
*They do that on the scooters to get the tow. Occasionally ends as you would expect.

Wow, quite a climb! Pity about the views - I thought you were in the sunny Spain that everyone on here raves about? Looks nearly as chilly as Scotland.
Every picture tells a story-Jade is clearly saying in several of them "come on Dad, I'm waiting." Then there are those where she's having to pull you up- poor little dab ,I bet she'll sleep well tonight

an absolute delight following your trip, brightens up our day, pictures super. Re Jade's "cheesy grin", we have a border x shih tsu who has a slightly overslung bottom jaw, and he "grins" a lot too!

It was a shame about the views , bitterly cold up there the last bit up to the summit that railing was icy cold my hand stuck to it.
It was still worth the climb and the 4 deer at the summit made it worth while. Jade has slept since we got back lol I've hardly moved myself as I ache all over lol.
I kept her in the lead all the way up but let her off coming down and she was sprinting down like a nutter I was worried she'd fall off the edge ....full of beans and energy.

I could never get to some of these places so I really appreciate all the photos.....

I sometimes send Sue up lots of stairs to take photos so I can see what’s up there....

There's a cable car and a funicular railway that would get you some of the way up Gary....Not to the summit but the monestry and a little further.

The winds fairly getting up now , I'm being blown side to side I'm Toby....bit daunting parked up a mountain lol

At least the skylights in Toby don't rattle like the ones in franky did ....heatings been working grand too it's lovely and cosey I'm struggling to keep eyes open , but the green mile is on at 10.30 and I wanted to watch it

Lovely sunny day here today which is typical eh lol.
Anyway croissants for breakfast nom nom
Then a lovely shower to freshen up and we are gonna go do the other walk which I don't think is as far but will see.
Then I'll pop jade back to the camper and I'll have a look round the monestry.



P.s I was having one of those moments of though this morning and I got to thinking did Jolene take dollys man in the end ?
