Aye although sometimes I wish I had one of those battery powered cheat machines.

I'm just out of practice...if got quite used to the bike last year.

That's a really lovely picture of your Mum with all the dogs Tam, it's no wonder she felt down when she found herself on a prolonged stay in hospital.
Hopefully she is on her way back up now and will soon be able to enjoy woodland walks again

She seemed to take a turnaround after Christmas ...she's got her fight back now and wants out of there which is good , she's still a way to go but it's a relief. .a couple of weeks before Christmas I thought she wasn't going to make it.

Its my 4th Samsung....can't fault the cameras on them

Jade may be the only dog at the moment but I bet your Mum would have taken huge comfort from her visits and now she has met her will get even more enjoyment from following her adventures.

When i was a wee laddie , our Great Dane used to tow me about 4 miles on my bike to visit my Gran

They don't help, you just go twice as far, twice as fast & up hills you would have never dreamed of tackling. And get back just as knackered, well thats what we do.

The great thing about leckie bikes is that you don't have to use the battery power if you don't need to.
When we are down by the Med I ride for miles without any power on because its nice and flat. When you get to a hill, strong headwind or are just a bit knackered you just flick a switch and you suddenly have extra muscle........Magic.

Well we left Barcelona this morning and drove up to Montserrat as it's another place I missed last year and wanted to see it. Topped up the fuel and emptied and filled water etc at a free aire in the village of monistrol before heading up the mountain to Montserrat. It's quite a steep climb but not a problem with Toby.
We are parked up In the carpark closest to the monestry got a spot with a fantastic view it's €6.50 a night to park here or €8 for two nights.
I also popped in to Lidl for potatoes and bread .....€30 later and I'm well stocked yo on pastries, fresh bread rolls etc etc etc

Oh and on the drive up I was absolutely stunned at the stupidity of this guy on the scooter , sitting at 60mph right up the arse of this truck for miles , he was literally a foot of it's rear end and could only see the back doors of the container. No chance of avoiding it If it were to hot the brakes , at one point there was another lorry right behind him.
Amazingly stupid.

Just be careful not to drop it. In spite of the advertising puff the screen is very fragile and £300+ to replace

Well we are still climbing on our way up the mountain , so high at this point it's started snowin. I've apparently 25 minutes to go till the top but I'm dubious as I've been walking now well over an hour

I'm exhausted ....most I've walked uphill ever but going by the signs I did it in less time than they say.

for a non-religious person you .seem to be putting yourself through considerable grief to take a picture of a shrine.
good on you though! coz I, along with so many others on here, get so much enjoyment (not to mention education) from seeing your pics and following your travels.
Couldn't agree more about the idiot following the lorry on his scooter, although bt some miracle he seems to have survived long enough to have passed his test!
Jades' ears seem to be doing there own thing lately, has she got something going on with her teeth? I can't remember what age she was reckoned to be - some times ears and changing teeth go together or maybe it's just part of her growing up and the ears are because her daddy was a Podenko.
Keep up the fitness regime Tam, it's good for both you and Jade and we're all mighty proud of you as we sit back in our deep fireside chairs and look on.
