Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

You are in a country where they stick sharp things in bulls and let them bleed to death, would anyone bat an eyelid at a dog being hit ?

@Chris says he'll defend you if you get into bother letting his tyres down.

You may be surprised. Many are animal lovers.

I might let his tyres down when he's sleeping:p

Gas him and steal all his valuables, give the dog to someone who appreciates it. Not my favourite dog and often not as nice as they look, but like you say, no need.

Oh, and then you can let his tyres down!!

What on earth are you doing on pg 2, get back up to no1 where you belong.

I’m liking your co-ordinates for each stop. Feels like we can follow your journey in more real time.(y)(y)

Daft dog would probably bark & warn him......

...but don't blame you being angry.
Do the Spanish have an equivalent to the RSPCA (although they're not always brilliant)?
I've seen him come out with it 3 times since yesterday too , once round the carpark each time 10 minutes at most. ..big dog like that needs more outside time. Even jade gets between 90 mins and 2 hours walking a day.

I've been keeping note of them in my travel journal this time too so I can draw it on a big map later.

And now we are heading off to see if we can find an overnight spot closer to the centre to visit tomorrow.

We used the aire next to the little sports ground Only around a 7min walk and about 30 min train ride away.
Which one ? Santa coloma?

I've given up trying to find a spot near the city it's impossible unless you have a vw camper or something. Ive been at 5 different ones now 3 I wouldn't leave my van too risky and the other 2 are far too small.

I stayed on an aire outside Barcelona last year at Santa coloma near a school and football ground. It's not far on train but not sure I can take jade on the train.

To be honest I don't think you will miss much, Barcelona is my least favourite Spanish city and apart from the Gaudi buildings, Parc Gruel and the Sagrada Familia it is very much like most Spanish cities, especially as you will have Jade with you.

Can you not get the cable car down to the docks from your original parking place and walk into the centre?

To be honest it's the sagrada familia I want to see but it really isn't a motorhome friendly city :(

I've just found a place that doesn't look to great but somehow gets great reviews on park4noght so I'm going to stop here tonight.
It's possibly within cycling distance to visit the sagrada tomorrow.

It won't win any awards for pretty but it gets good reviews for being quiet and secure and it's possibly within cycling distance for us to visit the sagrada tomorrow.

Will see what the might brings

No dogs on trains or buses in spain as far as I know.

Not sure if you can take Jade in and if you haven’t already bought a ticket online, you won’t be able to get one tomorrow.
You might have to make do with a video :D

I’m sure I read you can now take little ones so long as they are muzzled.

edit: Dogs under 10kilo are allowed muzzled and carried in a bag.

Do go to the Sagrada Familia and the Crypt. My boy went last year with the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra. They were the first ever instrumental group to play in the Sagrada Familia (they played in the Crypt). The concert was streamed live so I got to see it. He said it was best thing he’s ever done (he’s only 14 so perhaps that’ll change). It’s a stunning building and the story of its building makes it even more impressive.

As @Riverbankannie said you need to buy your ticket for the Sagrada Familia online in advance and I don't think Jade will be allowed in.
I know everyone is going to think I'm nuts but I'm not much bothered seeing the inside I just wanted to see the outside ha ha.

I very rarely go in to the buildings I love the architecture which I can normally see outside.
And as most places don't let dogs in we just stick to outside. If I can cycle along there from here tomorrow we will go for a look if not will just leave it and head to our next stop which will probably be Montserrat
