Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

Is it the lacquer problem on the bumper ?
Make sure they take it off and remove the lights for a proper job
Had mine done last winter.

Here he is, having a glass of wine waiting for lunch in Oliveira do Hospital yesterday.

He looks different in other peoples pictures ? :)

So Toby has had a cracked wheel arch and a badly painted front bumper since I bought him , the back bumper also had the notorious lacquer and paint peel problem so Nigel had mentioned a guy around here who had done some work for him that was quite good.

This is how Toby looks just now

So took it round to him this morning and he's going to paint both bumpers repair the front wheel arch and repaint all 4 wheel arches for me.
So dropped the van off and I'll have to sleep there at the garage for the next night or 2 but hopefully Toby will look excellent when all done ?

I'll post up some pics of the finished job in a few days.

Toby repairs so far

He had masked up my gb and ecosse stickers so as not to remove them but I've peeled them off as I would rather take the chance of having no gb sticker than the stickers fading at a later date and leaving a visible mark if removed.

Wheel arch repaired and all panels in primer so I reckon he'll probably be finished with it tomorrow.

Looks good so far

looks a tidy job (y)
Yeah I think so too ....I've been poking around it since they've gone home as I'm spending the night in the paint shop lol .

Can't see any faults .....Trust me I've looked lol.

Should look smart when finished off

if the job comes at a fair price that will be a good result
Well he's given me a price already that I was happy with so I can't see why it would change as the hard work is now done...just the final key and top coat to do.
I didn't get any quotes in the UK But I know to buy a new wheel arch is around £300 and I'm paying around that for the complete job here so I think that's good

Absolutely sounds remarkably good value,
I removed my bumper and that alone cost £200 to prime and paint(y)
