Yeah front struts and rear shocks being replaced when back home. And cambelt and full service.

And windscreen removed and a new rubber fitted as this fitting is shocking.

Gave all the front of Toby a good polish and 2 coats of wax .....and then done all one side and half the other today , I'm knackered but it looks great.....I'll finish the other side in the morning.
I'm leaving the roof and back panel till later as they need washed first.

It's like a new van ?

Hope dog recovers quickly, if you want a dog friendly place try Porto Covo, dogs allowed on all beaches apart from main beach, amazing place, you can park on cliffs above beaches in the day , but recommend you move at night to town , but there is a lovely campsite acsi if you want to have a couple of days luxury, they also charge 5 euros if you want to empty and fill.

Why are there a few purple grapes amongst the green ones Tam? Genuine question, I thought they had to be kept segregated.

They all get mixed together, it’s just the way the locals do it. We usually end up with red wine, if white wine wanted, keep the whites separate.

Well I left Sundowners at barril de alva this morning and headed east towards guarda , stopped at a little hilltop village " linhares da beira" weather has been a bit naff with heavy rain and strong winds , I'm huddled behind a wall for a bit shelter.
Braved the weather to have a bit walk around the village and 7th century castle

Will stay here tonight and on to guarda tomorrow.

Next stop was sabugal to visit the castle not much else there although there's a free aire with services. I just parked near the castle as handier.

Aye being a Sunday these towns were dead so just quick visits around the interesting bits .....back in Spain now and parked up for the night

Ciudad Rodrigo.....another fortified town . Unfortunately not motorhome friendly. No aires and most of the carparks have 2.5 tonne weightlimits..

Ooft it's cold this morning ...And didn't get light till 8am ....had to put heading on AAAANDDD of course it didn't work my truma is still cutting out almost imedietly...water heater all good but as soon as I put heating on and the fan gets up to speed it clicks and goes off and starts again...red light flashing also.

Batteries reading 12.5v so not low power and plenty of gas.

Need that looked at asap as its gonna get colder from here on in

Anyone know any camper places ?

Probably the bearing on the heater fan gone, or if you are lucky could just be a build up of fluff but that's not common on a Combi.
If it's where I think it is in the bottom of the wardrobe it's a pig to get out.

I've no idea ....the fan does start up and runs a few seconds then goes slow again and cuts out ...But imedietly tries to run again ...And just gos on and on but won't run steady.
It may just need cleaning but as you say it's a bugger to get out.
