Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

Here what's happened to the forum ?

I couldn't get on for hours and now I can it's all changed

I dinnae like it

I think its work in progress for the rest of the week while Jim updates the system, think we will just have to have a fiddle around with it.

And he’s asked us not to moan until it’s finished.

It does look so different though.

That's definitely at the limit of your phone's zoom ?... but it must have been some distance as I can't pick out the building from the other shots...

Yeah I have to say the camera's on these Samsung phones are great this is my fourth one.

I was probably 3 or 400 feet from that and it was maybe 12 or 14 stories high.

I was on the edge of the marina and it was accross 6 lanes of road a centre garden and a couple of pavements ...The rest of the building wasn't that nice and blocked a bit by trees

Wondered why there was a lead with no dog attached.

Good photos, although wouldn’t expect anything less from you Tam.

Hope you’re still enjoying your travels and getting to meet people now we are in holiday season.

Let's try that again

He's getting really good ....proud puppy daddy here ?

Jade was more interested in mooching for food on this occasion but it gave Milo a chance to get the stick as she normally pinches it.

Nothing wrong with your voice, Tam. We like the Scottish accent.

Oh Please! that's what I get for saying nothing to report ...jist come back from walking the dogs to find the wind has blown my remis skylight off and it's smashed in to a million bits.

To add to that there's a young English couple in a landrover parked next door who say the skylight hit their landrover and scratched and dented it.

I obviously wasn't here so I don't know if that's true or not.

I now have a hole In my roof I can cover

Anyone any ideas of motorhome/caravan parts places near me ?

Anyone know if this is the same size of hole as the fiamma, heki rooflights

Help

i changed from remis to hekis yes hole is the same but fixings a bit different the remis bolt through drilled holes between the cut out and the edge of the flange and the hekis the fixings are within the cutout the heki flanges only just cover the holes left by the remis .I filled the holes with stixal before laying the ribbon mastic over them.
you need a sharp scraper and a sharp carving knife to free the old ones from the mastici had a 3 inch wallpaper scraper which worked well .The black mastic that was under mine cleaned of with white spirit but its messy you need to mask the roof all around close to the flange before you start have plenty of paper towels or rags and i found cleaning wipes handy new one goes down on strips of mastic and i added a bead of stixal to the edge of the flange
OH and sheet up below it as you will get stuff falling inside
first one took a couple of hours but that was because i didnt mask and had to clean the roof after that 45 mins each

A proper old fashioned Defender or a poncy Evoque?

If it's Defender they need to man up, if it's an Evoque (or similar) they want shooting!
