A few pics from our morning walk.

I think my next stop will be L'albir as I'd like to do the walk , camino del faro ....or at least part of it .

And then I'm gonna give Benidorm one last try lol ....still not using a campsite as there are 3 carparks all practically next door to the campsites so I'll see if I can find one for a night and have a look around benny
I've not actually seen the old town so might as well.

So I think I'll move to L'albir now and do the walk today possibly after lunch.

I did it up and down in about 1 hour 20 minutes lol.

We had a ½ hour walk from where we were staying to the start so that's an hour on top of your time.

I parked in the street just before the start , I was only there to climb the rock then moved afterwards

If you do go to Benni, walk up to the cross on the hill to your left when facing out to sea. Nice views and away from the madness of the town.

So we did the camino del faro and a wee bit extra down to this little cove for a paddle , saw my first snake in the wild and did as expected and shit myself as did jade.
I like snakes bit I didn't expect a 3 foot bugger to shoot out the grass and dart across the path right in front of jades paws
Moved at some speed too.

That's about half the length this bugger was.
First snake I've seen in Spain....seen a few lizards though

I'm parked in benni in a carpark near the hospital....it's not the prettiest but I only plan to sleep here and then have a walk around tomorrow. So it will do for a night.

I feel like I'm in new York or something it's all massive highrise buildings around me

I'm parked so I'm only taking up one space ...kinda backing on to the hospital. It's full of cars at the minute and will likely be the same tomorrow so I want to make sure I can get out ha ha

Ah, now I can say done that too..... we too did the walk to the light house at Albir I pushed all the way there with a little help from sue we were absolutely knackered afterwards....

We left Albir last Thursday and now sitting At Calais after a big lightening storm for the train tomorrow..

It's a decent walk ...about 5km round trip I think but we went down to the bay aswell which probably added another 2 ...not a proper path down there though so it's a bit of a scramble

Never saw much else of abrir ...not motor home friendly

Yeah I planned to walk along beach and see the old town.

Not sure which carpark but its the one between hospital and sports fields

Man I have to say folk look like they are having fun here and I can see the appeal for a cheap holiday with lots of sun cheap beer and English food ..

But it is seriously tacky town and it's a bit dirty and minging.

For a weekend on the razz with some mates I could see it being a good laugh

But definately not my kind of place......although I reckon finding work here would be pretty easy

Yes they do.Nothing like what you see on the telly. I had to use a broom to keep one from entering the house & the speed his head could move & attack was unbelievable.
