Well I'm in canet de mar today I moved here this morning from Santa sozanna , only here the one night then I'm going to the aire outside Barcelona tomorrow at La colonia guell for a day or two.

Met an Irish lad in Santa sozanna yesterday that was a laugh his banter was great so we had a few beers and a pizza last night....he's heading to France and Italy lol ....I did try to warn him :p

Anyway I'm parked up beside this beasty which is amazing

Yeah I was in L’Escala the other week saw it parked up by the petrol station. Luckily there was still some left for me. Amazing. Assume it’s the same one.

Well salou is a bit meh eh ...You could go as far as saying it's a dump bit I'll be polite.

Thought this was a popular holiday resort , few guys from work used to cone here regularly bit I'm guessing it's because it's cheap...as it's quite dirty and run down. Every second person is British but no talent so I'm dissapointed lol.
This is the only pics i could get :( and had to wait nearly 20 minutes to get a photo of that salou sign without some squawking English brats on it lol ...You don't half see some sights walking along there. There was an old couple each on a mobility scooter parked on the esplanade sound asleep in them lol ....he was topless and massive lol ...I wanted to take a pic because it looked funny but didn't want caught....and mum's screaming at kids who are crying and throwing a fit lol. I swear I saw that girl in the pink tracksuit from little Britain and I think the temperature clock is broken.

Good to see our Export market into Spain is still buoyant. Look at the wonderful things Spain has given us, and we give them - Chavs in cheap sportswear.

Yeah I can only imagine what this place is like at night In the summer. Puke everywhere and half naked sunburnt folk lying unconscious in the street

I wouldn’t have been seen dead in Salou when I was young.

Me and my mates used to go to Tossa Del Mar:whistle:

I was just passing through, I'd never stopped at salou before but like I said a few guys from work used to come here so I thought I'd have a look.
Cambrills next door is a far nicer town.BUSBY.

I never realised this was actually the town I stayed a night in back in January it's where I met up with Julie @two girls and had a walk along beach with dogs.

I'm knackered I walked from Cambrils to salou and back with the dogs then had a spot of lunch and then I cycled out the other side of Cambrils and then back to salou and then back to Toby....my ass is numb I really need a comfier saddle lol. Brakes seem to be fine though so that's good.
There was a couple getting married by a sea captain on the beach in Cambrils, brides in the full white getup lol ....it's a bit windy so everyone is sat there holding their hats on their heads lol.

Didn't Salou flood badly some years back or did I dream that?
Back in the 60/70s i think, cholera outbreak i believe due to sewage. May remember it wrong. BUSBY.

Left Cambrils this morning and I'm here now
Huge market here today.

Although there are more looky looky men selling handbags and trainers between the parking and the market than there is actual market stalls.
I seem to be having a run of bad luck with shoes this year , last year folk were laughing at me carting 12 pairs around with me ...this year I brought 4 pairs and they all about knackered. I had an operation when I was 7 to cure fallen arches/flat feet and slowly over the last 5 years my feet have been once playing up , I seem to be very heavy on the outside of my heels and destroying the backs of my shoes. Ill have to go get it checked when back home ...can't do sod all about it here.

Tam, having seen earlier the way you had wreaked havoc on a nearly new pair of sandals I would suggest a couple of things :
Go for a better quality, more supportive, robust style of sandal, such as you might find in an outdoor /hiking shop. If you buy cheap, particularly with your foot problems it isn't going to last or help.
Secondly, I would buy several pairs of tough in-soles and use them from the word go. They will cushion and support your feet more but will also help spread the downward pressure from your foot over a wider area of the sole of the shoe. :)

At the minute it doesn't matter what quality they are, my £150 Cat boots are knackered , my bought new in January trainers/skate shoes are knackered , my trainers are knackered. I've tried insoles in all of these and the bloody insoles are also knackered.

I bought new sandals in decathlon the other day which seem to have a tougher sole than the last ones I bought but the only footwear I have at the minute thats not knackered lol is my crocs.

It would seem then that you have to choose between your street cred and your crocs!
That will give a lot of folk on here a good chuckle. :p
But do whats most comfortable for your feet, coz being crippled won't pull the birds or help your trip. :)

My Schwalbe Marathon PLUS seem to be lasting very well...:D2
