Aye it will be going up pretty much after breakfast lol. I might have to put it up twice from different places to capture both sides ...not sure yet

I bought 1 a couple of years back, crashed it 3 or 4 times on its maiden voyages and its been lying in 1 of my sheds somewhere ever since.... no pilots licence for me!

Touch wood I've not crashed mine yet lol. Nearly lost it a few times in the wind though and lost signal a few times too , doesn't perform aswell in colder weather either. But I've managed to get some pics of the rock with it this morning ...sun splitting the trees here only its lower than the bloody rock at the minute so making it difficult to get some shots without sun wiping out the camera.

I might put it back up after we've been for a walk and see if I can get a wee orbit video . Might be a little warmer then.

I'm parked up out the way in a wee carpark in clonmel , or I thought I was out the way lol . But these 3 auld drunks turned up , they're sat on the kerb behind the camper 2 women 1 man , drinking something out a bottle in to paper cups , the banter is hilarious, im sat in the van ending myself at some of it. In between the craic they're singing , so far there's been coward of the county , candle in the wind , leaving on a jet plane ,total eclipse of the heart and now the wild rover lol .

My entertainment is sorted for the night , I'm not going out cause I don't want to end up with 3 pissheads in the van lol




We came down to clonmel from Cashel as I couldn't decide where to go next Waterford or kilkenny and this was only 20 mile away so came here for a woodland walk to find a wee out of the way castle not many know about.

Now it's wind beneath my wings lol . The auld guy can actually sing ...raspy but he can hold a tune

They're getting noisy and argumentative now ...think I'll be moving over the carpark lol if they don't bugger off soon .

Downloaded a new album last night , suede Autofiction. I loved these guys in the 90' s hadn't heard anything great from them since but the new albums brilliant

Killkenny as an Aire at the old Lime works right in the centre of town although it will break your heart to pay €10. Nice town.
Aire wasn't there when we went it was the one night on our Irish trip we spent on a campsite there.

You might have a couple of options for Kilkenny, the library car park very central but still fairly quiet or the Newpark Hotel down the bottom of the carpark there may be a couple of local vans about and a nice wee dander along the river to centre, definitely worth a look ( think the library is a couple of euros a day but free after 18.00)
I think you might also get parked at the chapel near Elvis House ( I let you google that one! )

Laundry day today before we move on , a dry but very misty morning. These outdoor laundry places are a godsend . This petrol station has the cheapest diesel I've seem since way up round donegal too at €1.94 way up north it was €1.84 average but it's been over €2 most places since .

There is a definite challenge for top dog going on with these two just now, ela is trying to muscle in on all her spaces

, I feel sorry for jade as ela is such a big bugger in comparison but she's not giving up lol.

Visited kilkenny today , parked alongside the castle park for 2 hours €1.50 , that gave me time to put the drone up and get some shots , and then to have a walk around the castle grounds and the town.

I'd only just got the drone in the air and out of nowhere appears a blakey from on the buses lookalikey to tell me no drones allowed in the park...he kept walking as he said it so I kept flying till I got my photos lol. I'd only just landed it and his ugly twin brother sulked out the trees saying you can't fly that In here ....I just did I said but its cool I'm off now and escaped back to the van. So I got a few pics from the air anyway , and some from a walk around it . Not the nicest castle I've seen , it's big ill give it that but architecturally it'd not that charming , I preferred lismore myself.

The town itself isn't much to look at , like most it's possibly nicer in summer but not really anything else to take pics of .

So here's the pics of today

Decided there was no point staying over in kilkenny as not many choices for parking and we'd seen everything we wanted to see anyway so headed off and we have stopped the night at millford about 7km from carlow, there's an old mill here , a weir and a forest walk so will have a look at that tomorrow.
