After our morning walkies we have now moved to Stranraer parked up just outside of town in a layby with nice views over the bay , mixed weather today ,sunny with showers and a little windy .

I have to say the van has been going really great. But obviously the new belts I had fitted have stretched a little and I'm now getting annoying fan belt squeak in the morning so I'll have to find somewhere to tighten that up at some point . Not the easiest to access on this.

Ferry day today ...just been looking to see where I'm gonna park up on the other side. I want to visit the Belfast murals and the peace Wall etc . There's a free carpark near them but limited to 12 hours parking and it has gates that close at 6.30pm apparently so I might not have long enough this afternoon to see everything I want to see there. Then there's a spot up by the castle that I'd like to check out but could be busy daytime. All the other parking in Belfast is payed and busy by the look of things. Don't want to drive to far out to go back in tomorrow. So I think I'll have to check out the castle parking first then try to park up at Shankill in the morning to visit the stuff around there.

safe travels across the water m'dear and enjoy the emerald isle..
was always on my to do list, too late for me now but can take pleasure in seeing it through your eyes..

The coastal path from Holywood heads all the way to Bangor if you head easterly (away from Belfast). Quite a few small beaches and there is Crawfordsburn Country Park too. If you are heading into Belfast without the dogs, the train at Holywood takes you all the way in.

I'm planning to park up at the Shankill Road carpark tomorrow and walk around with the dogs to see the murals and peace wall etc.

You’ll soon be answering a lot more if you buy the Carthago as it’s a cbe setup but don’t worry we’ll all give you some time to get used to the system then bang you be inundated 🤣
The van's a year away and I'm already having sleepless nights over it. Why on earth do they put the batteries in the middle under the floor so you need to be a midget to crawl in the hatch to get at them? And then the distribution unit in the garage, nice & easy to get at but silly long cable runs.
Am I right in thinking the B2B is a Votronic & do you know where it is fitted?

Man it's blawin a right hooley here noo , we just walked along the coast path towards Bangor but had to turn back at helens bay as getting blawn all oor the place. So only 15000 steps the day.

I'm trying to decide if I'm better taking the scooter from here to visit stormont or whether I'll be able to park the camper closer and walk to it ...its between here and Belfast City centre so makes sense to go there first in the morning.
