I was about to post that seeing the 3 of them charging around gladdens my heart particularly seeing how well Ela has integrated into the "pack". Hopefully Milo's problem is not serious and a few days rest will sort him out.

Pics of the day

Sneem village , molls gap , ladies view, torc waterfall and a few others in the national park , and then murcross house and gardens. Parked up in one of the murcross carparks for the night. There's a barrier but it's open so fair game lol

will walk to murcross Abbey in the morning, weather forecast in Ireland seems to always say rain but been lucky a few days when it's pretty much said rain all day but seems to just be early morning then again late afternoon/evening so hopefully the same tomorrow

You can see by the photos Tam it's getting cooler, have you noticed it getting colder much? Although I'm only a few miles from you it's hard to know when your in your own home compared to being out in the van

He's been absolutely fine today , never any lasting effects , everytime he's had one of these weird turns He's been fine almost straight after. Nothing holds him back He's always raring to go. I can't deny him that or wrap him in cotton wool , he lives his best life everyday.

I think the problem is they just don’t have a measure of how much effort they are putting in to gallivanting about at high speed,they simply only stop when they drop, my fellas the same 11years old now and goes like a bullet none stop until l try and contain his efforts.

Despite a few boyracers in the evening who buggered off thankfully around 11.30pm I had a peaceful night parked up at murkross , we had a walk in to the old 15th century Abbey/friary this morning . It's been dry all day today so far thankfully. The old Abbey was cool and despite being a ruin its pretty intact bar the missing roof. You can get up in to the tower and on to both floors which is nice as most are fenced off , there is a cracking big yew tree growing up through the center cloister .

The church roof fund whip round failed dismally there, shame they weren't better at roofing! Such lovely buildings.

After the Abbey we drove down to the lochside to see Ross castle , with all the rain there was some serious flooding around the castle and 2 of the carparks are completely under water. The area where the swans are is not normally water but a carpark . Nice setting for the castle though and some lovely views over the loch .

I had been contacted by Kilroy ( fun member not the tv presenter) to see if i wanted to meet up for a coffee as he lives round here so after the castle i headed back to murcross and he met me there and we had a walk and a natter for a bit and then went in to the restaurant where he very kindly bought me lunch, i did the usual solo traveller with only dogs to converse with daily thing and most likely talked his ear off but he did get the odd word in sideways telling me of his troubles securing a motorhome here in ireland which sounds a right pain but heres hoping he gets sorted soon , cracking fella and it was good to meet him and have a blether. Cheers again for lunch Kilroy you're a star



This beast was parked up in the murkross carpark ....had it been on a Toyota I'd have said nice truck but I'm not a fan of the unreliable landy but it can probably get to a lot of places I can't ( in between breakdowns)

After that I've headed in to kilarney Town and parked up on a street near the cathedral and now about to head out and walk off that big lunch.

Bloody ferry companies and the tunnel piss me off.

So I got a quote the other night for my crossing Dover to calais ...p&o 26th Nov 10am £149 all in .

Just went to book it and the site now tells me that sailing has sold out while I was entering details .

So the next available Is £171
Only it hasn't sold out as I can get the same boat same time same crossing just not the same price.

Really annoys me as its blatant profiteering .

So now the cheapest I can get for that day , the day before or the next 2 days after is minimum £22 dearer. For no other reason than they can .

If I thought it would make the least bit difference to the greedy swines I just wouldn't go and I'd go home instead.

I hope once I get off the boat it feckin sinks ....the scumbags
