I'm on the m6 although not sure where junction 10 is.

I've just stopped at Tebay services for some lunch , I'd like to get as far down tonight as possible so I've less distance to do tomorrow but I'll be stopping before it gets dark so I'll see how things progress

I once received a phone call at work asking where Thursby was. I said between Wensby and Friby. No-one thought that was helpful either .

Had I been at home I would have offered some doggy help but not home until 12th Sep. Don't think I'm too far from Uncle Lenny.

Having become dogless in April I now have a 14 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy that could do with learning some manners!

It’ll only be a day visit, sisters got me fitting radiators in her gaff, but if your on your own on the weekend Lenny I’ll pop down and we can go for a pint, I’ll buy as I know the distress it would cause your wallet…

Aye it goes well . Much better to drive than that big euramobil was. No slowing on hills and the cruise is a godsend

Morning campers

Nice quiet night , but parked on a bit of a slope and I nearly rolled out of bed through the night. Must have been cold overnight as windscreen all misted....and the bloody heater fan doesn't work at the minute.


Sister says the palliative nurses gave mum other meds yesterday which seem to be better , not sleeping as much through the day and they gave some steroids to help with back pain which also seems to have helped so that's all good .

Wow, nice weather - fabulous blue sky. Are you sure you're still in Blighty?

Oh and if I recollect, first night in the van! Hope it was comfy, apart from nearly rolling out of bed. Trust the hounds enjoyed their new home too.
